The racquet making process and those who design them.

My discussion point here is about wanting to learn more about how racquet manufacturers develop their new models.
In particular in the research and develop phases there must be some scientific places that the companies use to develop the materials and their intellectual property. Volkl for instance refer to the Fraunhofer TEG as a place where they developed their DNX technology. So this is one part.
Then I'd imagine that there must be some sought of testing place including the use of pros to test the frames.
Then, there would be the marketing and demographic folk who would be responsible for determining which racquets would fit the target markets etc.
Is there anyone here who works for an organisation that knows about the process I would be interested in gaining some insights. Obviously there are some companies that go to a factory in China, buy a licence to a mould and then market with some fancy art work, but you think that some of the racquet makers would be more involved then that. Your opinions please.

I think Volkl should have licensed the technology to Wilson.

Then Wilson could put that in Fed's racquet.

Optispot = no more shanking for Fed = We will all BEL18VE
I think the optispot should be made brighter with lighting added like they do on cars with those little zenons that the Audi's have.
