The reason why Nadal fans are freaking out right now.

Freaking out because if he keeps losing some sponsors may drop him

Hum...No. Roger has been loosing steadily for many years now and that has not affected his prospects. Not likely to happen with le Raf either

RF wins means more business to the Tennis.
I don't think so, quite boring actually to see the same player over a time span of 11 years in the finals. Change is good for tennis not status quo.

But of course middle aged balding men will disagree but hey they probably think that Mick Jagger is still rocking as well.

Frankly i dont understand your rant.

You need icons to propel the sport. If there are different winners for each major, you cant get that.

The sport needs Fed, Rafa and Novak till the time a new superstar emerges. And those three will not hand it over just like that, the youngsters need to earn that.

And the best proof for what you said is that people are so sick of Federer that he's still the biggest draw in tennis. :)

Well apparently there are many people who don't seem to get enough of him, they probably would enjoy another 5 Wimbledon finals with this player. That is their prerogative, just as much as it is my prerogative to disagree with it.

He is a great player, one of the best ever, but at one point it is getting old, that is just my opinion.

The problem with your theory is that Federer is still one of the best grass court players.

The guys in the 1st semifinal couldn't even remain on their feet on the grass.

It sure will be a lot harder for Nadal to catch Federer if Federer can win the number 18 insurance slam. That is why it is hard to see how Federer will lose this final. He ain't stupid. But who knows, Fed-error could show up.

But he is 33. When was the last time a 33 year old male player won Wimbledon?

1954:shock:

Roger isn't going to stop contending for titles when he's clearly still in the mix just because people like you are getting bored. He's going to keep competing until he feels he has no chance in hell.

The fact he's in the Wimbledon final tells us he knows what he's doing by pressing on. He knows he's still in it.

congrats to Fed on his 8th runner-up plate. Now he can stop freaking out about having enough dinner plates for the whole family.

Is because they have a lose/lose outcome on Sunday:

1. Novak wins = Nadal loses his #1 rank and probably will never catch up to Federer number of weeks at number 1 especially with the 4000 points he has to defend on hard courts in North America.

2. Fed wins his 18th slam = Nadal stays number 1 for couple months longer maybe but slam gap increases and to keep up with slam count Federer had at the same age in 2009 Nadal needs to win USO this year.

Solution to both would be for Nadal to defend 4000 points on hard courts which would be a first time that Nadal ever defended a non clay title and to do it back to back 3 times.
I read past the first sentence……wrong….you've brought nothing better to the table than this provocative "in-your-face" crap?

gay fanboy fail :)
