I was confident before Novak's default but now I'm not confident now in Rafa, expect Djok to win the next 3-4 slams or something.

He thrives on this **** when everyone's against him.
He really does lol, it's so annoying. I take it he's playing Rome? It's going to be interesting to see how Nadal comes out playing, not having a competitive match in an eternity. He doesn't have much time to get match-fit for RG so he really needs to do well here..... a lot of questions to be answered

Exactly match practice gonna be a killer and even worse if he matches vs Djok who's got all the fuel right now to prove a point lol

I never bought this. If this would be true he wouldn’t be so desperately searching for love from the audience, there would be no "boob throwing" celebration etc. (At the US Open one commentator said sarcastically: "Now he still does it, but only for the TV audience. At least for whoever feels addressed by it.") He would embrace the role as a villain, which he never did in reality.

For me Rafa is the even bigger favourite for the clay tournaments now.

If the cork had hit him in the throat would the champagne have been disqualified?
Probably. Would have been interesting to see how Djokovic would have dealt with the death threats the champagne fanbase would have sent him for being responsible for the incident, though.

its on Rafa's racket

Djokovic can't do much if he's facing a resurgent Rafa on PC

on hardcourts its a whole different story but this ain't his home turf

Being pissed off and wanting adulation are not mutually exclusive ...

I have to say, Rome is my second fav clay tournament after RG. Monte Carlo is a very close 3rd. Just absolutely insane what Nadal has done there.
Agree, Rome is up there in every category. The spectacular setting, the history of the tournament, and the fact that the clay surface is one of the best. Did you go to the Foro Italico when you went to Europe? One of the top 5 experiences in tennis imo.

Everything has very quickly gone from 0-100 since Nadal has announced he is returning soon. This guy has been doing nothing but chewing nails and hitting on clay for months now and he is going to just be manhandling people in a pretty scary way at Rome and RG.

I’m hoping Novak’s disqualification fires him right up for clay season. At same time he needs to control hitting the ball away to avoid DQ again but this could fuel his fire to try put up a good challenge to Rafa on clay this season.

Rafa still the big favourite of course and Thiem in the mix. If Thiem was to win this us open that would give him lots of confidence for RG too. We will see.

Lol. I mean… He got agitated playing against Busta. Imagine him against rested Nadal on clay.

He probably wins the AO and maybe Wimby. And that's it. From now on, he's the underdog in the other 2.

OMG,, he so............. he could have lost an eye doing that.......... he was very lucky. HIs coaching staff is supposed to do dangerous things like that for him
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you do not point the bottle at your face while uncorking it
