The Shanghai Masters Prediction League.......(11th in Series)

I'm two points behind dafox due to Ljubicic's decision to retire instead of losing in 3 sets and counting on overhauling him through sets is a big gamble.

So I'll take an even bigger gamble :

Davydenko in 2
Nadal in 2

Yes, Davy won...so happy for him...bummed that it screws me up in the tourney, but much that happier Davy won...I hope he wins it all tomorrow:

Final:
Davy in 3

Nadal has played relatively few sets, Davydenko may or may not be tired for the final. His last thought about his last match is his brilliant TB.

Nadal IMO needs to play progressively difficult matches to play his best in a final. His last match was...well, nothing.

Will be interesting to see how the tennis mind of each is working.

No bets from me on this one.

Good match, as the umpires say.

Congrats to qindarka and Davy (very happy for him)!

(This predictions league was kind of like this tourny with all the non participants and retirements. Hope Paris is better.)

Oops, sorry. It's 140. My mistake. I had Tsonga as your runner up... I blame auto complete. Doesn't change the results, but so very close.

Who could've predicted all the socres ending an a 'ret.'?

Hass retired to Schuettler.
Roddick retired against Stanley Wawrinka....Stan retired to the Stepper.
Le Monf ret'd to Ljubo, Ljubo ret'd against Rafa, who won by ret'mt against Lopez who had beated Melzer who Del Potro retired against.

End of the season injuries man.

Well, anyway, here's to a healthy tournament in London! And congrats to Tsonga and Benneteau for taking the dubs.
