This thread is for fans of Signum Pro CoPoly strings !!
So far Signum Pro in my view is the best manufacturer of CoPoly strings, when you look at the best combination of spin generation, power, elasticity and tension maintenance and innovation.
I've tested and played for a longer period with a lot of the Signum Pro strings and my favorites so far are:
Signum Pro Tornado - currently use this GREAT string in my wet weather string as main string in a hybrid with the cross string Babolat Xcel Power 16. I prefer the thin 1.17 gauge of the grey black Tornado, because I get a bit more liveliness and spin from this thin gauge and with stringsavers I still get 10-12 hours before it breaks or I cut it out. The Tornado has GREAT spin production and nice power for a CoPoly and holds its tension and elasticity well for poly type string, but mostly of the Signum strings do that........
Signum Pro Hyperion - An EXCELLENT CoPoly string, which I use a cross string in 1.24 gauge in a VS TEAM 17 NATTY GUT HYBRID. This black CoPoly string provides very nice blend of control, softness, power and spin.
The best smooth CoPoly I've ever tried. Perfect as a cross string in a Natty GUT HYBRID.
Signum Pro Poly PLASMA - also called SPPP - This CoPoly has wony fans worldwide and is still in my view among the best CoPoly ever made. I use the thin 1.18 gauge as cross string in a hybrid with VS TEAM NATTY GUT mains in my 95 SQ" CONTROL FRAME, the PSGT LIMITED. I feel the SPPP 1.18 has the best elasticity and tension stability of any poly string out there, maybe even as good or better than the Pro Hyperion in that regard and the thin 1.18 is pretty durable and more muted in power than the Hyperion is. I get good feel and decentrale comfort for a CoPoly with the 1.18 gauge of the SPPP and I feel that the 1.18 gauge of SPPP holds tension better than any of the other thicker gauge SPPP strings, and gives me nice feel and touch at the net. So it works very nice as a cross string in a VS TEAM NATTY GUT hybrid in a control orientated frame like the PSGT LIMITED.
I hope to hear from other Signum fans in this thread. Feel free to come with a small review or just an opinion as to why you play or like Signum Pro strings !!!
