The Sin Man is most likely going to be number 1 very soon isn't he?

He's on a 15 match winning streak, wins the Aussie open and Rotterdam. New World number 3, the highest ranked Italian Male player EVER.

He made the final of the masters tournament last year if I recall, barring that there isn't many pointage between now and and Womble?

The sky is the limit and the carrota crew have a lot to look forward to.

Did anyone watch this match? Just listen to the sound of Sinner hitting the ball. It's not very clean, is it? Is the timing off or is he putting more effort into topspin? I don't have any stats for this match but it does not look like he was hitting flat and hard enough.

It's going to be funny AF when Nick comes back and takes out the likes of De Minaur and Sinner after not playing a match or touching a racket for 2 years while playing CoD in his off days. When i think of weak eras, we'd have to go back to the 19th century to rival this sh17fest

It looks like the Nole fans are starting to jump on board with Sinner.
Let's see how they'll cope if Jannik somehow gets to 20 slams at age 30 and 45 Masters 1000's.

Sinner has improved his movement a lot and also his serve - also some progress with slice and net play. He also seems in better shape physically especially in the lower body to last in top form throughout a tournament. He was always a big hitter on both wings with a good return. Kudos to him for erasing his weaknesses and becoming a complete player.

I notice he is also changing angles at will and hitting DTL a lot like a prime Djokovic. This puts a lot of pressure on an opponent when you control the point patterns in neutral rallies. He is going to be tough to beat with his current well-rounded game unless an opponent plays at the top of his game.

Djokovic barely has anything to defend until RG. Sinner won't be able to make a move until at least then. Sinner lost 2R last year so that's his chance to make a move up the board. Although even if Novak has a pedestrian 4R/QF exit in Paris and Sinner goes deep, Nole might pick up enough free points in IW/Miami to still make up for it.

Let's see how Sinner's fan base handles his first slam loss to Alcaraz. Or if he gets crushed again by Novak.
..first Alky would have to get back to the business end of a Major. Those 250s seem to be troubling
him a bit at the moment, though.

Sinner is on fire!
He reminds me of Djokovic at the end of 2010 (where he began with his incredible streak and won Davis Cup) and start of 2011 (winning everyone everywhere).

Still a little worried about that elbow... wa touching it a lot throughout the award ceremony and the post match interviews. And clearly was not striking the ball at his usual level all week long.

Fingers (and arms, legs, eyes...) crossed.
Hes been playing a lot of tennis, he had basically no off season, if he was able to win rotterdam probably its not a Major thing

All signs point to yes—the winning while in second gear, the continual winning of tight matches, the absolute calm, the no real attackable weaknesses.

Also, I believe that every player who has ever won 15 matches in a row has eventually reached #1 except Chang, who reached #2, and Zverev who also reached #2. Vilas also but that was due to other things.

You might as well stop watching tennis buddy, as it’s most likely never gonna be the same as the golden era of tennis (2007-13).

None of them have even a slightest chance before RG, most likely not before Wimbledon. Both Medvedev and Alcaraz have over 3.5K points to defend including RG points. The only chance for Alcaraz is to do extremely well in all upcoming events and at a same time Nole to fail miserably which I doubt is gonna happen.
On the contrary, I expect him to improve spring results compared to the last year. However, it's gonna be very interesting in a next 3-4 months....

Skipper is just beating up on mugs.

It's like I've said 50 times now, this guy is not ATG material.

Who is? Sinner's very good, and I like his approach much
more than that of the shrieking Anointed One (who can't seem to make a
250 final on his best surface, at present).

that's odd

Naw. The only reason that he looks like a world beater, right now, is due to the lack of depth in the field.

There's a very short list of players who can take Skipper down.

And one of the people on that list is 36 years old.

The Sinner era is upon us, he's gonna win 67 slams, etc etc.
You're straw-manning again, since no one made that claim. He and that little Spanish kid will likely be in single digits- which is perfectly fine. I like The Sinner much better, though: no shrieking, for one thing.

You heathen shall go to hell for not believing in our new prophet.

"In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king."

Sinner's got heart, and hence no need for that other kid's vacuous PR machine. Will that other kid make the final of a 250 this year?

Skipper has a PR machine that just won't quit.

Look at what's going on with this forum.

It's turning into Skipper Mania.

It's not a PR machine , son! When everybody ruled out , called him Berdych we kept believing in him and I called for his incoming domination before AO and look what's happening. We believed in our boy, he's a world beater and Future ATG
