the sting is back

looks like wilson brought back the sting and it joins the lineup in the K series. it sports the classic blue color it always had but it's no longer a high tier players stick like it once was back in 80's when it had the arch bridge. but it's cool to see wilson coming back to some old model names and reviving it with new racquet technology.

these were some of the few sting models i could find in terms of pics. i know i'm missing the sting 2, which was virtually identical to the og sting but with a bumperguard. also missing is the ceramic sting and the sting lite.

I used the Sting OS for years. It seemed to be the poor mans Prince Graphite OS. It was a nice playing oversize.

yea dude. i agree. i was pretty much disapointed once they went to the "high beam" series stings back in the 90's. but isn't it said that the ps85 was designed with ideas from the og sting and ultra?
