One is Halle. Fed, Kohlschreiber, Falla Don't know the other.

EDIT: The other was Memphis. Lu, Karlovic, and Michael Russell. Of course I had to look that up.
We have a winner. Get your seniors' discount coupon at the desk!

I thought the tricky one was Lu. Ageless Randy is 31!

David Ferrer is 1-7 in finals at MS1000 level and higher. How many sets has he won in those 7 losses?
The only one I can remember is Miami 2013 winning a set against Murray.

I know he got straight setted last year in Paris and lost to Nadal in straight sets in Monte Carlo and Rome.

Does he really have 8 finals? That seems like too much.

Ah cheers, I wasn't counting WTF and I forgot about 2011 Shanghai.

From stringertom's post though it sounds like he's saying Ferrer already has 7 losses. Is he assuming Fed will mop the floor with him tomorrow or is there one more from the past?

As of now, Ferrer is 1-6 in big finals (ie.anything above 500 level) but maybe Stringertom was already anticipating the outcome of tomorrow's final like I was!

Roger Federer vs David Ferrer for TRS! Lots of "r"'s in their names. Who are the five finalists at TRS since 2000 without an "r" in given or surnames?

Besides being RG champions Mats Wilander, Michael Chang and Andre Agassi have in common failed attempts at three-peating for a The Real Slam title, losing in the final in the third year to some stiff competitors. Name the TRS champions who denied their attempts at history.

Here's a good trivia thread.

Since Federer won his first Dubai title in 03, only 2 other players have won here besides Federer and Djokovic. Who are they? Bonus points for losing finalists.

Richard Krajicek who subsequently went on to win Wimbledon that year.
After losing to Muster in Rome, Krajicek was the only player to take a set off the eventual 1996 French Open champion, Kafelnikov, during the 1996 French Open event. Krajicek also replaced Muster as a seeded player at 1996 Wimbledon, when Muster pulled out. Krajicek was originally unseeded at 1996 Wimbledon. Becker in 1985 remains the only unseeded player to win Wimbledon.

DelPo was the second Argentine to win the US Open. Who was the first and in what year?
Guillermo Vilas in 1977.

In 2001, Juan Carlos Ferrero was trying to topple Gustavo Kuerten as the "King of Clay", and Ferrero had beaten Kuerten in 5 sets in the final of the 2001 Italian Open in Rome. Ferrero then went on to reach the final at 2001 Hamburg. Who surprisingly beat Ferrero in 5 sets in the 2001 Hamburg final to win his only career singles title, having also upset Hewitt in the semi finals?

Nadal vs. Garcia-Lopez at 2010 Bangkok was another. Nadal had an incredible number of break points (I think it was 26), yet he only converted 2. Garcia-Lopez converted his only break point of the match in a 2-6, 7-6, 6-3 victory.
