@Feña14 enjoyed watching Nice Asse today

Such names lol Can always rely on France. :p

The best football we displayed is when we played like good sex. I was very pleased and very proud to do it for Manchester United.

For Prat FC, Joao Pedro will have to be risked, even if the Brighton manager says he won't risk if he's not ready. Was back in training today. Spoiler, I'm going for Pedro.

Some of the fantasy questions on the page

''Is Palmer still worth his premium price tag?'' Of course not, but there is always a chance to make that right tomorrow. Prove you're not just a flash in the proverbial, our kid. Show Jadon Sancho that you are still the main man. Get me those points.

None of the five to watch have made my team. The closest I got was clicking on Jamie Vardy before clicking back. Yeah, he's got some nice fixtures, I respect his talents. But, sorry to say, we're just a higher standard here at Prat FC.

Some spoilers from the Prat FC training ground. A different captain is being considered this weekend. Luis Diaz is in the frame, allegedly. The wise source from the back row says don't pay attention to any of that noise. Erling is the captain.

Let us find out.

My Mother has Isak, Joao Pedro and Muniz :-D

Her team is like a Kamala Harris interview.. there’s nothing going on up top.

I bet Arteta would be a fan of her team though, any excuse to break out the old 6-4-0 formation.

As for Palmer, he’s got 4 goal involvements in 4 games. On course for 38 returns on the season.. one of those games was against Man City. He’s more than fine imo.

A forward line that I would be proud to present in the main event of the games.

I'm more going by Palmer's fantasy football ratings so far. 3, 6, 17 and 2. Even though the 17 ups the average a lot, I was thinking something like 6, 9, 10. 7, I don't know. Always optimistic for the best here, with strong hints of unrealistic delusions. I have faith for points tomorrow. Might even be a chance to be captain.
:happydevil:

I do enjoy how Marky is not on the talk sport bandwagon any more. The Goldbridge Arms proprietor no longer works for them on Saturday nights.

He's back to ''Talk sport, you mean talk sh1te.'' :D

That’s the thing, he’s capable of those 17+ point games. He’ll have 5+ of them this season. That’s what you pay the big bucks for. Same with Haaland and Salah.. I think they’re the only 3 players capable of doing it regularly.

Outside of that you’d say Son, Isak, Foden and Watkins might get one or two.

Saka, who gets a free pass is essentially the same price as Palmer, but he’s a 6-9 points a week man. It’s a lot of money for someone you can’t Captain, not to mention Arsenal look awful going forward. You’re basically hoping Arsenal keep a clean sheet and he takes the corner they score from.

So yeah, who would you even sell Palmer for? 6 point Saka? Bowen? Eze? I’m not even sure what problem they’re trying to solve in asking the question :-D

As for Goldbridge, I saw he was doing an FC 25 stream earlier. He was fuming Trent didn’t get sent off, then his Shaw got sent off not long after :)

haha I know he's capable.

It's an article I will have forgotten about next week. It's just talking about things like touches in the box. The first four games with Pochettino and Maresca. It's pretty similar. They're looking at it here and now, wondering if the money saved on Palmer could get you maybe 2/3 better players in other areas. Maybe you have Palmer but don't have Salah. etc

But anyway, in the words of anybody who has ever lost an argument. We can agree to disagree. I don't even think I'm disagreeing, all things considered.

haha That all sounds scripted. :giggle: Shaw would have to be the one sent off.

It didn't take long for the Marcus Rashford is a new man and has changed his lifestyle articles to come out. Would have preferred they wait until after Palace.

To be honest, I don’t want anyone who isn’t an Arsenal defender, Haaland or Salah :-D

If FPL was 5-a-side, I’d be golden.

It’s like “sell Palmer so you can have Bruno and Bowen!”.. I mean.. they’ve both been crap. Doesn’t really sound like it’s solving an issue to me. Or you can have Palmer and Morgan Rogers.. who’ve had 6 blanks out of 8.

However you spend the money, you seem to be in the same situation.. measly points.

All I know is if someone said to me “someone is going to score a hat-trick this weekend.. who do you think it’ll be?”… with Haaland playing Arsenal, I’d say the two most likely would be Salah or Palmer… although with the way the season is going, it’ll probably be a Southampton full back :-D

A hat trick this weekend? Danny Ings vs Chelsea. Easy. They always smash us at the Olympic Stadium. It won’t be pretty this time around either.

Big game, that’s for sure.

From a positive POV, if we can finally win there, another away win, back to back away clean sheets (as unlikely as that is).. that would be huge.

Or we drop points again and it shows it’s going to be another topsy turvy season, which is the more likely outcome.

I did see a stat earlier. Chelsea have lost 2 of their last 19 games in the league.. could be 20-2 tomorrow. The only losses came against Man City on the opening day, and Arsenal away last season.

Pretty crazy! Especially when you consider the average age of the Chelsea team is 2 whole years younger than the next youngest. That’s something that’s usually measured in 10’s to 100’s of days. A year difference is unheard of.. 2 years younger and competitive? Just doesn’t happen.

Turin is great, my gf is Piemontese so come December I will have visited four times in the last three years! Can't really say anything on the footballing front as the timing of our visits haven't been particularly favourable to making the slog out to either Juve's ground or to Torino's museum (which is miles out to the west of the city), although we did take the time to walk down Corso Re Umberto to see the monument placed where Gigi Meroni (Torino's bohemian winger, dubbed the Italian George Best) was killed after being hit by a car in 1967.

It looks like a beautiful city from what I've seen so far. I'm looking forward to exploring and seeing more of the sites. Patrick Vieira was only in Turin for 1 year due to the Calciopoli scandal and his subsequent move to Inter (another high profile player to play for each of Italy's traditional big 3), but I remember him saying that he loved the city as well.

I'll have to 'hold my nose' and put my hatred of Juve to one side when I go to their stadium for the game today. I'll be privately be rooting for Napoli.

Be sure to try bonèt when you go for dinner! One of those Italian sweets I hope never gets imported to the UK in an inferior form.

Now's the time I wish I could fast-forward a couple of hours past these boring 3 pm matches.

I just know Spurs will find their scoring knickers because Flekken in. Book it.

Just as expected, Solanke gets his goal. Kinder MBeumo scored the equalisier. I'll have some of that.

* I got mixed up there. MBeumo scored another first minute goal for Brentford. Solanke equalised. Johnson just put Spurs ahead.

James Horncastle is just looking at my defensive points for today in disgust. Kilman 0, Livramento isn't on, maybe for the best because Fulham now lead 2-0.

Not to say yay Liverpool or anything, yuk, but a quick-fire double for Diaz in 26th and 28th minutes. 2-0.

Have to wonder what will happen to Everton. They have the 1-0 now, could be time for the 2-0 in minutes, before some late match shenanigans.

I realized we're no special case. I typed Livramento into the google machine and then suddenly ended up in a reddit match discussion vs Fulham. All feels familiar.

''The whole Howe is the best Monday-Friday manager is daft. We look as bad as we did under Bruce here. No ideas, no fitness, no tactics. Everything is wrong.''

Rashford scores back to back and then gets left on the bench. I shouldn't be surprised. Ugarte and Casemiro on the bench as well. I can sort of understand Eriksen playing, even though I wouldn't.

I'm happy enough with Garnacho and Amad in. If we're remembering everything that happened before the previous 2 games then it's all good with Rashford being on tne bench.

Man Utd XI: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Eriksen, Mainoo; Diallo, Fernandes, Garnacho; Zirkzee.

This lineup worries me. Eriksen or Mainoo doing the ''number 6 work'' even though neither are ''number 6.'' It doesn't feel like it will end well, or even start well.

Well well well, let us hope I am wrong.

I agree, but we all said here Ugarte wouldn’t start after being signed. Ten Hag logic. Rashford should have started too

Zonal marking always brings back a montage of Rafa Benitez at Liverpool images in my mind.

Unfortunately, United couldn't take advantage of it there. Off to a good start but need to get a goal. Yes, captain obvious.

Relieved we aren’t going into halftime down. To be fair to Ten Hag, Garnacho and Diallo both had good halves- Garnacho unlucky not to have a goal. Dalot in the midfield has worked as well, too.
Yeah, once again, I don't know anything about football. Was worried about the line-up, still am, haha, but it's looked quite reasonable going forward so far. Just haven't done the most important part and scored.

He's good at everything else it would seem. But scoring is obviously what counts in this game. So he will confound and frustrate.

If Hojlund's finishing is like it was at the Euros, that combination will drive us all into an early grave.

Like @Poisoned Slice and I have said a few times the football is clearly better but there's no actual evidence of it because our goal scorers are not finishing chances. I am not going to pretend to know what constitutes a 'big scoring' chance but Zirkzee has missed 5 such chances and that does seem correct.

We need a mercenary up there. Definitely could see Zirkzee still being important, but don't see it being on the goal scoring front. Unless these missed chances are a fluke.

The Rasmus is waiting in the shadows to restore order. Yeah, all I'm going on is the one pre-season game, we looked sweet then he came off injured.

Come on United.

Bruno trying the Pro Evo hidden shots. Not right now, Bruno. Save that for times we are winning.

It's hilarious how Rashford woke up for the first time in like, 2 full years and he's on the bench. I am not saying it wasn't a false dawn, since it probably was. But he earned the right to be starting today.
