“Should we be worried about Chelsea?”

Well they did finish above you last season… for what that’s worth.

This is very true.

Fortunately they won’t manage to be thieves and steal our European place next season. Hard to do when you’re 10 places apart in the final table :p

I jest. It’s funny with Chelsea, there are definitely big improvements.. but it still feels like they’re only 10% there. Barely scratched the surface.

Obviously the new manager and the ridiculously young age of the squad is a big part of that, but when you’ve got Yamal 2.0 turning up next summer, along with Paez, Santos and Ugochukwu with their leadership and physicality.. and you know they’ll be signing a physical beast number 9 and sorting the defence out in the next couple of windows… it’s interesting, for sure.

Alice is scared. Saeed is worried, but hungry.

Meanwhile, Jackson is Thrilled.

I miscalculated and forgot to add Palmer's bonus. 9 for the day. (y)

Palace probably had the best chances in the end, we had more. haha Yeah, I was thinking on brand United, even though it's like a little change to the texture or something, it's still made from on brand United fuels.

Looked quite comfortable for the most part, felt like we could push higher up without Maguire, even if De Ligt isn't a 100 metre champion.

Not raging mad or anything, thanks to Easy E missing. Still frustrating. Awk well. On to the next one, kid.

Consecutive assists for Sancho did not go unnoticed. 8-B

Twente in the Europa League, then time to get Spursy next Sunday. Do ol Kral proud while we run riot.

I guess you have to take any sort of positive. Ugarte, lost out and didn't rush back to give away a foul, but we stil ended up winning the ball back. Didn't give the ball away much.

On one hand, we don't look as easy to play against, on the other, we still looked way open when Palace had their best chances. So yeah, take from that what you will, Clyde.

Didn't have the Goldbridge watchalong on when I'm watching the matches, but I see we're on the same wavelength as far as Bruno goes, he was going for those Hollywood balls again. So annoying.

One last thing. yay

After 55 minutes, Bruno starts playing those passes and about 4 or 5 passes to the opposition in a row.

No players fc here, well, I like to think I'm fair, Imust take pride in that pride badge. lol I disgust myself, but yeah, I can't really argue. It was frustrating, don't want to kiss Ugarte ring Just yet, sure, I like his energy, but he was keeping the passes short and sweet. I guess it still all led to nothing, but he wasn't giving the ball to Palace constantly.

Ok, now on to the next one. lol

Also, correction, screams the line judge. Back to 8 for Palmer. That's still a good performance. You know I'm all about 7 and over. 8-B

I am not Harry Potter. 7 out of a possible 15 is better than any one else could do with the mince they've given me. You call them 'my' signings but no, they are INEOS'. Without me, INEOS would be relegated. Now sod off, Crabbe and Goyle FC.
''We ate Palace alive.'' :(

He does talk some sense at times when he doesn't have to blow smoke.

"It was a brilliant save from Andre Onana twice in one action, it was really brilliant. That is very difficult for a goalie to be there in the moment you needed.

"Dean Henderson also played a very good game, how many balls he stopped. He was in a rhythm, but Andre has to wait and keep the focus and in the right moment, you have to be spot on and he did brilliant."

It's like Goldbridge said, if United were up 2-0 in that game we would be waxing lyrical about the performance. Much like Real Madrid looked vs Espanyol. Difference is they finish their chances, we do not.

Forest got off to a good start but Brighton fight back at the end of the first half. Hinshelwood (42) and a then Welbeck free kick. (45)

Ol Roy isn't having it

"The Forest goalkeeper should be fined a week's wages. He's taken a gamble. He can't be beaten on that side."

I do find this quite fascinating. Very very very fascinating, as a matter of fact.

"From the 31st attempt we finally have our first free-kick goal of the season in the Premier League. It's an art that is going out of fashion. There was only 11 free-kicks scored across the whole of last season. Welbeck rolling back the years in every way."

Juve-Napoli was a boring game, as Juve basically failed to create any real chances and laboured to a 3rd straight 0-0 draw in Serie A. The best chances fell to Napoli, despite Juve dominating possession.

But still it was to tick off another major European stadium that I’ve watched a game in.

Mixed feelings after the 0-0 draw away to Preston. On one hand the unbeaten league record remains intact for a big longer, but on the other we failed to take advantage of having a numerical advantage for almost all of the 2nd half.

Parker and Zhang say they want Dubois. Parker said he will take it this year if offered.
As I said in the other thread, the most impressive performance last night was not Daniel Dubois, it was Carl Froch doing his Frochalong. He just made so many good points, predictions, whatever. Mimicking AJ was the funniest. :D

I think I responded. Can't remember.

I will catch up on Froch. I like his channel and he was a bit underrated as a boxer the only opponent he didn't beat was Andre Ward.

I don't listen to him much. I just typed Joshua knockout into Youtube and his program was there. Even though I now knew the result of the fight, listening to him talk about things before they happened was very impressive. Showing some of the sky football pundits how to do it, kid.

I’ve watched the entirety of the last 4 Juventus games.. three of them have been 0-0. So I feel like I might’ve jinxed you :-D

It was an absolute shocker. Just laboriously moving it forward and back until they made a mistake and lost possession. When they did somehow manage to get in a decent position? The quality was abysmal.

As I said before the game, PSV let them do what they wanted in midweek.. but after they went 2-0 up fairly early? They shut up shop. I thought that was a mistake as it was the perfect opportunity to build confidence, chemistry, cohesion, patterns etc.. kind of like Chelsea against Wolves when they just kept going at them in the 6-2 win. You felt it click and they’ve essentially kept the momentum going ever since. Would that be the case if they shut up shop with most of the second half to play? I’m not so sure.

Ahh well, as you say, one to tick off the bucket list! I must say, the stadium was looking incredible last night. The light around sunset on a sunny day was doing it a lot of favours!

Did you check out the club store? I think their 3rd shirt this year might be the nicest I’ve seen in a long time.

Forest and Brighton remain unbeaten. 2-2.

I'm just mad Joao Pedro was brought on so late. Would have preferred those 5 Duran points off the bench. Awk well, he said, again.

A Mitoma assist was as good as it got for Prat FC.

Ben White out, Calafiori in. We get the usual lines from Mystic Merson. ''Oh, I'm worried about this, I know he's played in big games, but this is the Premier League.

Big win for Frank Warren he has another star on his team now.
Bricktop Warren still running the show.

Yep.

Fury and Dubois are huge steals.

Mikel Arteta looking like he's been up all night partying. :p. Not exactly designer stubble. Talking unusually fast, like a man who knows it's over for the season when City win today.

We get the early goal and the Haaland century. Nice.

Haaland going into Harrison Wells in Flash season 1 mode there. Sprinting away and leaving defenders for dead.
