The TT Football Club

I really hope so :D

A big score from him this week would be amazing, but you know how this season has gone for both of us. At least this week I’m taking the disappointment so you don’t have to!

As for The Penguin. Haven’t seen it. Isn’t that the actress who was Jordan Belfort’s first wife in Wolf of Wall Street
The optimistic head on tonight. The goals will follow. :p

Yeah, Sir, it's the same girl. This is the first time I've really taken notice of her. She had a small part in The Sopranos as well, as one of Johnny Sack's daughters. I've been making my way through The Penguin slowly, haven't binged. It's been enjoyable, superb makeup department to make the studly Colin Farrell look so hideous, yet not so over the top the way they made Danny De Vito look in Batman Returns.

Are we the only Haaland owners right now? He’s been destroying us recently, but I have good news.. it seems the software upgrade has turned him into some kind of Haaland/Palmer/Bane monster.

Double figures by half time, I reckon (y) 90 mins, no goals incoming =)

Sounds like a good way to spend a Friday evening! I’ll put The Penguin on my watchlist. I’ve still not got round to watching the last season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.. it was on in March. So it might take awhile.

I’ve spent my evening rewatching Chelsea from yesterday and getting the mother the 3rd shirt for her birthday. She’s already got the home with her name on the back, but she was quite taken by the pink last night. She likes the “players” versions because they’re more slim fitting. She’s costing me a fortune.

As for the game, was even better on second viewing. This 3-3-4 is wild, it’s like control over every phase, it’s vertical when it wants, dominates possession the rest of the time, so many bodies centrally that you can win the ball back immediately (Enzo is protected), I mean.. there’s even some of that Diniz relationsim going on.. the whole chaos, overload, hook and ladder thing. Check this out, they’re all in a line :-D

IMG-2471.jpg

One last, but bold prediction to end.. Mudryk will be thought of as a top 5 winger in the league by the end of the season. Maybe I’m getting carried away, but he looks like he’s improved 20% in the last 6 weeks, and teams can’t handle it. Another 20% between now and the end of the season? That would be scary.

haha Yeah, I guess it's better to be carried away than being stuck in constant negativity. Might be a bold statement, but you've been watching him. I would if he got some minutes in the league and propa propa propa teams were not able to handle him. Right now, all I can do is look at his FPL stats and go meh. But like I've said, you've been watching him, your team is improving.

This is true, and very fair. He’s been excellent in the Carabao Cup and Conference League (was also very good for Ukraine in the international break).

Need to see more of it in the Premier League though. He’s had about 10 mins against Brighton and Forest each recently. Against Brighton it was just seeing out the game and he played his part. Against Forest he picked the ball up at his own corner flag, ran 100 yards past the entire Forest team and at full speed, put a cross onto Nkunku’s head 3 yards out.. Sels saved it. The Nkunku miss got a lot of attention as it would’ve won the game, but the run and the ball from Mudryk that created it went unnoticed.

But yes, two games against Newcastle in the space of 4 days coming up. He should get some decent playing time across both of them (y)

Damn, that 2-0 lead virus hit Brighton hard today. Fair play to the Wolves, love to see it.

Wolves ay we. Ait-Nouri with the late goal was delightful :giggle:

So I’ve been doing some quick calculations.. the league was getting away from us, but our loyal consigliere, Silvio Dante has some thoughts on that.

Still a lot of big players to play this weekend, but it’s looking a bit better.

Silvio be like, ''you're only as good as your last envelope.'' Or in this case, your last goal.

The way it started, I was thinking Haaland will get a few today. He did manage shots and wasn't excluded from the game, at least. Gvardiol getting the top bonus points again. Overall, yeah, pleased with the improvement.

Not getting any easier for Ipswich, that loss today was brutal. But I was looking past that and thinking of how I will get Wissa back for the Prats next week.

Still 4 teams without a win in the league.

Yeah, Haaland looks really good still. Man City? Not so much. They don’t really create much for him. Towards the end Haaland wasn’t even bothering to get in the middle, he knew he wasn’t going to be found.

Part of that is teams parking the bus, and they really are parking the bus. It’s 11 players in their own box kind of parking the bus, which is impossible for anyone to be prolific.

But yes, think it’s made my mind up. For £15.4m, he’s going to have to go.

I still dream of touching the ball five times and scoring five goals. I'm sad that you wont be part of the experience, Boss.
what.webp

El Clasico time. I believe I've found a stream. At least until it starts. haha

Raphinha with 9 goals and 8 assists in all competitions so far. I just find it strange because he used to play for Leeds, innit.

Gotta think Vini Jr will get it on target eventually. He's warming up here.

But my heart is with Barcelona. Settle down, kiddo. Raphinha has earned the right to take a shot.

I give people and things a chance. I'll never ever ever ever be onboard with the offside flag going up late routine. I'm not talking offsides getting missed or anything, just how they let play go on now. It's the most pointless thing ever.

Camavinga is impressing me once again.

I did two substitution and lost four points.

I was thinking of adding Wood and in the last minute I opted for Raul Jimenez.
Selected Palmer as captain. Thought he is a better option than Salah who plays against Arsenal..

Anyway we will see

Lastly, I am happy for you..

Some good advice there, hold on to the ball just a second longer and maybe don't look for the pass into space all the time. But then, this is Real Madrid, kid. My advice isn't welcome.

Damn, what a hiding. Don Carlo is triggered. Raphinha in on it now. Wow, losing 4-0 against the rivals at home. Beatings.

Where them white flags at? Where Curry at?

I disagree with the ''it's only one game'' sentiment. It's far more than that, it expands Barcelona's lead in the league, it's your greatest rival and it's at home. Settle down with that bollocks, Mr. Commentator. This is much more than the proverbial one game and you've just been told.

Good evening and goodnight.

Just one more thing. This pretty much says it all about Real Madrid tonight.

''90: Two added minutes.
BIG CHANCE! Another one for Mbappe. He is played through by Vinicius down the left but he fires straight at Pena.

Oh wait, he's offside again.''
