I was thinking of some combination of Hatton and CottoI got that reference. Real Madrid became Ricky Hatton tonight.

There's only one Ricky Cotto, walking in the Hatton wonderland.I was thinking of some combination of Hatton and Cotto
I did two substitution and lost four points.
I was thinking of adding Wood and in the last minute I opted for Raul Jimenez.
Selected Palmer as captain. Thought he is a better option than Salah who plays against Arsenal..
Anyway we will see
Lastly, I am happy for you..
Not only that. Kane would have also scored at least 3 more times, and had 2 assists.Kralingen "Kane would have scored these two goals".
Guillem Balague in the studio once more. I love it. He's still the man for Spanish football.
Only watched the first half. What did I miss?
I had something to do, unfortunately, but I saw the score. Definitely wouldn’t have predicted that after the first half!
First half was very good. The intensity was crazy, so many chances. It looked like the defences were clinging on for dear life, which they were, but up against that level of attacking talent, the last ditch blocks and marginal offside traps were probably about as well as they could’ve done.
Glad you all got some goals as the Cherry on top in the second half
wtf I'm back in 5th?Wolves ay we. Ait-Nouri with the late goal was delightful
So I’ve been doing some quick calculations.. the league was getting away from us, but our loyal consigliere, Silvio Dante has some thoughts on that.

Still a lot of big players to play this weekend, but it’s looking a bit better.
Barcelona defended very well, Lewandowski showing his class by timing his run to perfection, then he wasn't going to miss 1 on 1. I guess at the time, that was the difference, patience. Barcelona kind of took over afterwards and we got another Lewandowski goal moments later. Towards the end, Real were playing 415 sort of thing, prime Casemiro might have even struggled with this, but we had an even older Modric. Offside played their part, it was either 1-12 or 1-11.Only watched the first half. What did I miss?

You've only used 3 players. I would expect you to be above me at least, after the games tomorrow.wtf I'm back in 5th?
Went from RM should be up 4-0 to they lose 0-4. All that was missing was RM in Manchester United shirts.

Yeah! Based on the first half, if you’d told me it was 4-0 I’d say Madrid won every time felt like they just needed to get to grips with the Barcelona offside trap and they’d be scoring every 5 minutes.
Kind of like that crazy Spurs v Chelsea game last season where we were offside about 16 times and had 5 goals ruled out.
I’m trying to find a video of the second half so I can try and understand what happened, proving tricky though. I’ve found a Russian language one in 240p that won’t stream to the TV. Not going well.
I had to run out but I'm pretty sure Mbappe had 1 or 2 more goals in the 2nd half also ruled out for offsides lmao. Need @Poisoned Slice to confirm
haha Yeah, we had another offside goal in the second half. Was just looking back at the stats. This would make Garnacho blush.I had to run out but I'm pretty sure Mbappe had 1 or 2 more goals in the 2nd half also ruled out for offsides lmao. Need @Poisoned Slice to confirm
The pen was soft but West Ham was absolutely atrocious. Ten Hag continues to lower the bar every week. It’s clear that he is not the man to lead the squad anymore. You can’t just keep someone because of your Fergie fantasies. Sack him before he causes anymore irreparable damage to the club.I don't have the words anymore.
They can beat City and Liverpool all year and it will be funReal were on a streak of 42 La Liga games unbeaten as well. Missed out on tying Barcelona's record tonight.
I trust them to take out City and Liverpool 10 times out of 10 more than beating these bankrupt lot lol...
As much as I'd like you to feel guilty about it, I don't feel guilty, I don't have Bowen, but like they say in The Wire, the game is the game. Not like United haven't had fair share of dodgy penalties.Well I have to say, FPL has introduced to me aninteresting dilemma: if a penalty was probably ********, but I got a lot of FPL points from it, do I feel guilty about it or not.
For me it really comes down to whether or not you as a United fan preferred the loss here to hasten what you view as necessary change. As much as I'd like you to feel guilty about it, I don't feel guilty, I don't have Bowen, but like they say in The Wire, the game is the game. Celebrate good times. You got the points.
Meanwhile, on the bright side, have to change course, Palmer goes from strength to strength. Now in the discussion for the best pass in the history of the PREM today. What a guy. Chips on the house, kid.
I didn't prefer the loss, no. It's more just a mixture of emotions, as much as I'd like to be raging at a penalty decision, I can't find the strength just because we've been so poor. This probably isn't fair. Plus, I'm not sure what is going on, so another loss might not even matter, I'd like to think it does. I'm half expecting Denis Law to come out of retirement and score the goal that relegates us.For me it really comes down to whether or not you as a United fan preferred the loss here to hasten what you view as necessary change.
Roy Keane will be putting Cole Palmer up there with Denis Irwin soon enough. He’s had a game this season with a goal and 3 assists. Another game where he’s scored 4… but today might’ve been the best performance of the lot. Absolutely ridiculous.
The funniest part is Roy Keane in the studio. This is a fella who can find fault with Messi, but show him Palmer and he’s like a giggling schoolgirl
Yeah this is why I was doubting, because I didn't think the case the loss would help haaten any needed change was obvious. The ill is deeper really.I didn't prefer the loss, no. That's very interesting, this Chelsea team could live long and prosper. That's something to be proud of, and results starting to back it up now. When Alex Ferguson kind of revolutionized things with his fledglings, we still had so much experience, I'm pretty sure Steve Bruce was our oldest player at 35/36. Maresca could be the one to put Ten Hag (and every United fan, even his backers) out of the Man Utd misery, or it could be another game lost and on to the next one.I saw in the build up, ETH entered the stadium and was looking very lost.. then it appeared he tried to get into the West Ham changing rooms
Maybe he’d heard they had a hot tub in there, whilst the away dressing room only had showers.
But yeah, even I was feeling second hand embarrassment for him. If he were a cocker spaniel, he’d have been put out of his misery 12 months ago. Poor fella.
As for Chelsea today. 60 mins were excellent, top performance. Last 30 minutes was suffer time. Wasn’t ideal, wasn’t pretty, but you need to learn how to do it.
They showed a graphic before the game, not only is this team the youngest ever in the PL, it’s the youngest by a mile. To put it into context, that Leeds side in 2000, famous even today for being full of kids.. is almost an entire year older. The difference between 2nd youngest ever Leeds and Poch’s Tottenham in 10th is the same age gap as 1st place Chelsea and the aforementioned Leeds in 2nd.
The crazy thing about that is 27 year old Sanchez is about to lose his spot to 22 year old Jorgensen, so the average age is only going to come down. The oldest player in the starting XI is James at 24. Mad.

Unless Leicester get in there first and Jamie Vardy gets the boss sacked. lol
I reckon that will be a future podcast. Ronaldinho, Lewandowski and Zidane all talk about their regret over not getting the chance to play for Blackburn.I thought that the Arsenal-Liverpool game was entertaining viewing, though Arsenal were overly passive and poor attacking-wise for much of the 2nd half as they looked to protect their lead. After being expected to miss out, Saka was brilliant in the 1st half.
It's depressing that I immediately thought that this was a positive result for City though. The fact that City are unbeaten and have only dropped 4 points so far, despite not hitting top gear in the league, seems ominous at this early stage.
I only saw highlights of El Clásico, but laughed at Mbappe continually getting flagged for offside. It reminding me of Inzaghi and Fergie quipping that he 'must have been born offside'. I despise both Real and Barcelona equally, so I tend to want the referee to win in those matches. After slumming it minnows like Dortmund, Bayern and Barcelona for so long, Lewandowski must surely regret that he didn't get his dream move to Blackburn in 2010.

Thought it was pretty good! Not quite as good as Inter v Juventus on at the same time though. Where was that Juventus performance when you saw them last month?
I still don’t really know what to make of Arsenal and Liverpool. I admire Arsenal, the team of 6’3 players, 4 centre backs, 3 DM’s.. it’s retro, and quite fun to watch as it’s a novelty in todays game (at the top anyway), but I’m not sold on it winning titles.
Liverpool feel like they could go either way to me. Slot is doing well and these could just be the foundations, but I think there are weaknesses that Chelsea and Arsenal have shown in the last few weeks. I guess all teams are flawed in some way, even City, it’s the results that matter.
