Damn, what a match. Barcelona recovering from 2-4 to win 5-4.
I recorded 2 games tonight, and watched one live.
Benfica v Barcelona
Atletico v Leverkusen
Brugge v Juventus
Guess which one I watched live

Yeah, can see a world where that happens. ''It was understandable when we sold Chelsea Mark Hughes, a great player, but on the downside. Garnacho is a Puskas winner and is still a kid.''I also heard that he wanted to stay in the Premier League. That Gaston Edul fella, who is pretty much flawless on any news relating to players from Argentina, seems to think it will be Chelsea.
Although tonight it sounds like he might actually be closer to Napoli. Which is giving me a bit of hope!
Sounds like they’ve agreed personal stuff and a fee with Man Utd, whilst we’re still deciding what to do. Could come out last minute and blow them out the water, but hopefully it’s too far advanced.
Crazy! And Khusanov, and they’ve also signed Juma Bah from Valladolid. 6’6, 18 years old, looks about 40, first player from Sierra Leone to play in La Liga.
But yes, before this window we had a list of the next great CB’s. Reis, Khusanov, Bah, Mosquera.. Man City have gone and signed 75% of them in a couple of weeks![]()
Was it as exciting as 0-0 sounds?I recorded 2 games tonight, and watched one live.

That is a crime.Unbelievable that Fermin Lopez pushing Barreiro with two hands was adjudged to not be enough to award Benfica a penalty whereas Alvaro Fernandez gently touching Lamine was enough at the opposite end.

Saw the odds for Fulham v Utd this weekend and Fulham are the favourites to win, which is understandable.

We got tagged along with some of those names. United entered an MBeumo race. Yeah right. Just thinking of that. I did hear about Wissa and Forerst. I doubt Brentford would sell 2 of their best players in the middle of the season. But I do know what feels less believable. Cunha, Delap and Jonathan David were the other names on United's four man shortlist.Yup! Mind numbing stuff. Like every Juventus gameI watch them on Sky Italia and then listen to the YouTube match reactions (the Italian Goldbridge and Saeed), podcasts etc.. I thought it would be a more fun way to learn than the Italian chick flicks they have on Netflix.
Obviously Juventus are as big as Man Utd are in England, so there’s more to listen to.. but I wish it were Inter Milan instead. I swear paint watches Juventus dry.
Interesting about the striker! Who are the 5 you’ve been linked with?
There were a few strikers rumours going about today. Cunha or Wissa to Forest.
We had more Delap links. Journalists with the “it’s an open secret in the industry that he’ll go to Chelsea in the summer”. And more Sesko ones, which I find annoying. Pretty obvious he’s 95% there to Arsenal, we won’t pay his wages and he’s someone who takes his career seriously with good people around him.. he’s not joining any team who are a shambles.

The only real transfer news today came from Fabrizio. Yes, good ol Fabrizio. I just needed ho hear this. ''There are no doubts a left wing back will be signed by the club.'' I'd like to think so. The first Patrick Dorgu bid was turned down. Also said the finances are not too far apart now. It's making it sound like it's either Dorgu or Alvaro Fernandez since we can get Alvaro cheaper than what the first bid was for Dorgu. Just going by football manager, I'd rather have Dorgu.![]()
I watched Leverkusen Athleti live, that game was fun. So, so glad I didn’t watch that Juve game. Benfica v Barca was better, apparently. The highlights were crazy. Szczesny is amazing at what he does. He’s really good at clattering into his defenders.I recorded 2 games tonight, and watched one live.

That's hilarious because I signed him in my Milan game to compete with Theo at left back. Instead, Pulisic suffered broken foot and plans had to change. Now I wouldn't even consider using Dorgu as left back because he's been so good at RW. Fortunately, Milan do have a prospect left back, Davide Bartesaghi. But who knows how that will translate to real life.I’ve seen Dorgu 8-10 times. Don’t think I’ve ever seen him at left back, let alone wing backhe’s usually RW in a front 3. Might be Davies, might be Malacia. I have no clue.
Did you say there was an option to get the Benfica left back for £16 million? That one seems like a no brainer!
PSG just equalised in the city of love and I love that.Pep gonna be scratching his head tonight. 1-0 P$G
Edit: VAR saves him

Yes, we have the option to sign Alvaro back from Benfica. Apparently, the Garnacho deal could play a big part. If Napoili can't get him then they turn attention to Dorgu, they will also allow Lecce to loan him back until the end of the season. It's sounding like something will happen with Garnacho. Get ready. haha
Speaking of the Milan game. Atalanta won the league, Milan second, 2 points behind. grrr, also lost the Europa League final to. wait for it. Spursy. Also, we have the MVP.

Yeah, being able to get a cross into the box is worth about 100 million to me. Getting skinned by Raphina doesn't bother me when you consider Raphina skins everybody. I'm not sure, maybe the Napoli and Dorgu story is to try and make Man Utd put the price down but I've no idea really. Again, we have to wait patiently and find out.Damn, a lot of moving parts! Sounds like Napoli have turned their attention to Adayemi, so they are more likely to get Dorgu?
It also means we will probably get Garnacho. Fingers crossed something happens last minute, for both our sakes.
Either way, I think resigning him for £16m makes a lot of sense for Man Utd. Even if it’s just to sell him on again. After last nights performance I’m sure there will be clubs willing to pay £20m+. Easy profit, even if you don’t use him.
I’m broke but I’d pay up.What would I give for Brugge to get a draw next week so these Arab lot don't make it to knockouts at all lol...

Still on the hunt for news and I landed on talksport. It was quite shocking. Gabby fully on board with Ruben and telling the players to wake up to avoid his wrath. He has a soft spot for the boss because they took coaching badges together over here (yeah lol) in 2019.
Have you seen this Hellas Verona player, Reda Belahyane, we like the look of?
I’ve seen him at Verona, he looks quite good. Kind of like a Lobotka or Bennacer.
The problem is, he’s 5’3
Just made me laugh trying to picture him going up against 6’4 Ryan Yates today.
Muggsy Bogues of soccer. simple.
Zagging when everyone zigs is often a component of winning strategy. No news is good news!
We currently have Caicedo as the only fit central midfielder. Do we recall 6’4 Big Les? What about Santos who is dominating the position in Ligue 1? Of course not, they need to stay on loan to increase their transfer fee for the summer
Instead we’re buying Belahyane from Verona, who I mentioned back in early October. I have a friend who told me he was one of about 20 we had sent scouts to look at. Most scouting missions come to nothing, but this time he seems to be the chosen one.
In a world where everyone is trying to sign big, physical, road runners, “duel winners”.. we’ve gone and signed a 5’3 Verratti. Insanely talented, but calling him lightweight would be too kind. He’s more of a strawweight.

But yeah, I came to report on Garnacho. Looks like Chelsea have made their move.
Seen one Garnacho match you've seen them all. Nah, I think you're getting a lot of potential. His moments of brilliance are maybe a little overstated, he can be frustrating, but I also think that's because he's been in a bad environment. Hate to say it but just judging United ever since he broke through pretty much. He can be great, I think. Maybe all he needs is a fresh kit. I'd hold on to him if I could. I'd sell Rashford yesterday, for whatever that's worthSo come on then. Now things are getting real, what’s your opinion on him?
I’ve had Man Utd fans screaming “he’s the future, the heir to Ronaldo!” for the last couple of seasons. Which was always ridiculous, he’s not even the same type of player, let alone being anywhere near as good.
He’s always struck me as someone who runs around a lot, but doesn’t really do much. Makes poor decisions, runs with his head down etc..
But you’ve seen more of him than I have. What are we getting?
