I forgot the playoffs are tomorrow night. Pep going on about Real Madrid's fab 4 being unstoppable. Let's hope so.

The Madrid Derby at the weekend was ridiculous. For Madrid to look that good against an Atletico side where each man does the running of 2, incredibly organised defensively and love every second of it.. was impressive.

Then for Atletico to have the quality they did after being put under sustained spells of pressure? Amazing from both.

But yes, should be a fun day tomorrow. Brest v PSG first, Man City and Madrid has 4-4 written all over it, then record Juventus and PSV is the plan.

Sorry Sporting and Dortmund, that ones last on my list of priorities :p It’ll have to be a highlights job.

I am tempted to go to the pub to watch the football.

City are just unlucky to run into Madrid again I think it's been 3 times in the 4 last CL's?

City was boned no matter what this time. Their only possible opponents were Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. Given Real Madrid's injury list, they may have actually gotten the more winnable one of the two.

Real Madrid and Man City have played what, 4 years in a row?

22 and 24 Real Madrid won
23 Man City won
25 ???

Each time the team who beat the other won the whole competition.

Players throwing another manager under the bus. Rangnick was the other guy who didn’t sacrifice his beliefs or system to benefit the players thinking it was his way or the high way. He was a crap coach but he knew what he was doing.

Ten Hag and Mourinho started well but eventually ran into brick walls trying to pander to these players.

Amorim, stand pat fella. Don’t let the Maguire’s of the world bully you. You’re the last hope for this club to do anything remotely good.

You’re spot on, but so are the players.

They’re a nightmare to deal with, but you’re not going to go very far with Amorim.

Not really a knock on the man, it just seems really hard to get a great manager these days.

Man City have been a brothel all season long. Everyone just goes there and pumps them.

Guess which team didn’t. Just take a wild guess.

To be fair, there have been two teams who failed.

They both play in blue and are relegation fodder :)

They actually played each other to decide who was worse out of the two. Ipswich won 2-0 so.. bad times.

Yeah, ETH started so well that he had to change his beautiful Ajax way plans after one game. One game. Yeah, One game. I don't really pay attention to things like this. It's no shock that the players will not be able to do what Amorim wants. We're asking them to play inverted wingers or whatever the ****, but they can even do the basics. It's like doing algebra in nursery school.
Bro when do you sleep I swear I see you posting at all times.

I’d love to see a PL table post-Christmas. We must be like 12th or something.

We have an amazing tendency to revive teams seasons or end their big losing streaks.

Remember when Arsenal went winless in like 10 games and were relegation threatened a few years back? Who gave them the win to jumpstart their season… oh yeah us, the mentally weak.

Or how about when Bournemouth had never in their entire history beaten a top flight team on the road. Guess who gave them win no.1!

United have been porridge forever yet who can they always count on for points? You got it, Chelsea!

Whenever I see a team on a major losing streak, I get scared. It’s a known fact, we will gift them a win. Mentally feeble, spineless, gutless, no leadership, boring, predictable, and worthless. Chelsea Football Club. Welcome to hell.

I'm not worried about Amorim at all. Not yet, that doesn't mean he is free from criticism or whatever. No doubt the esteemed gentlemen in charge were warned about this when he was pulled in halfway through the season. Am I delusional? Of course I am, but we've heard every single player is up for sale, we've only signed one player. etc etc Like that poster above says, the players can cry me a river.

I am absolutely convinced that we'd hear similar sad stories about players not being able to play even if we used the trusty 433/4321/442 or any formation there is. It's nothing more than another excuse. Screw players FC, Players United or whatever else Marky has called it. He might be all about the superchats but he's still telling the truth.

All I have to say is the sooner we sign Yoan Bonny, the better off we will all be. I'm aware that we can't just say, oh we're United, you're coming to us. That doesn't work anymore because we're rubbish and we just have our name. Think I've said this a billion times. So if we don't make it through by winning Europa League. Honestly, it feels sensationalistic to think we have a prayer of winning the Europa League.

So yeah, we're hearing Gyokeres or whatever. I guess I can still cling to some hope of a deal like this happening just because of their history together. But then if we've got other clubs out there looking him, will Arsenal go out and sign a world class striker.

Again I can laugh about Arteta out, I won't go as far as Arsenal project being the greatest of all time, but if I was moving to a club, I know which project I'd be a fan of going to, as rubbish as Stoke might be to watch.

I do find it funny that it said teething problems in that article. LOLZ Nothing better to describe United. These players are still on the tsit, quite frankly.

Was just feeling precious about Cobra Kai. Never mind. The final part of the trilogy is out tomorrow.

Just one last thing about Footy. I finally got off my arse and changed the height to feet. I might have ignored Pavlovic and gone for some quick guy or even started Tomori, because he's good, but Pavlovic has something he doesn't . Scoring a hattrick against Cagliari, all headers. It was amazing. 6,4 of awesomeness. But still, he might be staring a few games, but the 11 pace acceleration is always going to make me hesitant. Still, a most valuable squad player.

Judging by how trash Sporting are now that he left, I would say there is pretty good evidence he knows what he is doing. He just needs the right pieces.

Honestly? I am okay with Amorim continuing to play the way he wants to play. It will show without a shred of doubt who is simply not good enough to play in his system. If this accelerates the upheaval process, I am all for it. I will not judge him until he has players he wants and whether or not the system works then. Just like I gave ETH, Ole, etc the same courtesy.

Well I was asking more for a summation of recent historical data.
I fell asleep after my dinner last night and got up again about 4am. Once I gathered my surroundings, it was off to talk tennis to get my word in, because I love the sound of my keyboard typing my thoughts so much. I gotta admit, it turns me on. That was last night, I'm not real sure about other days.

Yeah, I have to give him a summer transfer window before I start calling for the sack.

That's the earliest I would go after him as well. When the slate is wiped clean with a fresh league table and new signings - if United are still this bad then we have got problems. This was never going to be some massive turnaround fairytale this year given what he inherited. There is so much mince we have to bake into a mince pie and toss into a dumpster in Manchester.

All I am focusing on this year is Europa League. That is our ticket into UCL, our only one. And could perhaps garner better signings if we can get back into it.

And now Sir Jim has fired another 200 members of staff to “spend the money on the first team”, should be splashing the cash! :p

If they earn £30k a year, which is a generous wage. That will be £6m to the budget.

Which is what, 7% of a Gyokeres?

What is happening to our clubs. It’s not just United and Chelsea, the level of ownership seems to be going downhill rapidly throughout the game.
