I will start worrying about being inconsistent at a later date, maybe even this evening, but for now, I am enjoying the victory. The first goal was pure sex appeal. Wee Bryan and Bruno are hooking up.

Spurs booed off at half-time once more. ''Frank will be sacked if it stays like this.'' Hmmm.
 
Pool defensive issues would be a lot better if Allison could make any saves this year. Instead they concede from every chance and they get random spells of defensive epilepsia.

Didn’t see it, but sounds like more of the same for Spurs. No idea what happened to Liverpool, they just can’t seem to get going.

Chelsea weren’t great. Quite end to end, both teams had a lot of good chances. Score could’ve been anything. We did park the bus and see it out well for the last 20 though, which was nice. A bit of pragmatism and showing a different side is needed. Can’t always be the 100mph fancy stuff, sometimes you need to shut up shop and stay switched on to see it through.
 
That’s pretty funny, fair play.

Don’t forget to wash your hands though, “ageing men” isn’t one to mess about with.

I bet that was a relief.

United's was interesting. It's unusual to see City so poor. They controlled the ball as usual, but we had all the chances, good chances, plenty of space, and City carved open a lot. Aside from the possession, it felt like the roles had been reversed. Dorgu running across the defender for the second brought joy to my heart. In the back of my mind, I kept thinking, OK, when are City going to get something together? Again, though, it's nothing too extraordinary. It's the sort of game that Carrick did have the aura on his side. But one game. Dalot could have been sent off on another day.

Still, it was great. haha

Honesetly think a lot of teams are exhausted right now, and that's part of why a lot of results don't make a lot of sense and why no team can consistently dominate. United should benefit a lot from their tiny schedule

A day to remember! Even back when you’d win everything and Man City were battling relegation, a win in the Derby was special. If anything, it means more now.

On a different note, do you know who this is? She was at the game today and they kept showing her. Some people were saying it’s a WWE person, others think it’s Malo Gusto :-D

I think you’re spot on. We’ve been dead since October, PSG have been on their knees since the Super Cup, before the season even started!

We had many players out today with illlness, and started a lot who were suffering with it. Delap came on and was coughing and spluttering. James and Caicedo were suffering with their chests. Poor Estevao missed out after waking up with fewer clean sheets than Onana, if you catch my drift. “Shouldn’t have eaten that pie and mash, damn foreign muck”, he lamented.
 
Let's hope Arsenal are knackered next Sunday.

Yeah, that's the aptly named..... Chelsea Green. A perfect fit, one could say. WWE is in the UK right now, and she was wrestling on Friday Smackdown in the OVO Arena. Some good publicity for them. Even better to turn up to a game and they win.

Inter away midweek. Win guarantees them top spot and the best chance at a good draw until the final. Meanwhile Man Utd can rest up till Tuesday and be preparing before Arsenal have even heard the UCL anthem :-D

It’s a bit sad that the game is in a place where a top 5 finish is more valuable than a trophy (money wise, attracting players). But out early in the cups really could be a master stroke.

But yes, hopefully Man Utd can win. I saw that if Villa beat Everton tomorrow, they play before Arsenal next week and have the chance to pull within 1 point. That would make things interesting.

Oh nice! Is she any good? She’s got a belt. I’ve not seen wrestling since the 90’s, think there was only one woman’s belt back then. Joakim Noah as also at the game today, I saw a picture of him with Gusto (aka Chelsea Green).

Unbelievable scenes in the Eredivisie. Feyenoord go down 2-0 in the Rotterdam derby vs Sparta, Van Persie controversially subs on his own son. It goes to 1-3 and then in the 87th minute, Shaqueel van Persie scores a backheel for 2-3. One minute later, he scores a bicycle kick for 3-3.

Then, Feyenoord proceed to concede the 3-4 in the last minute of the game because of course they do.

Sounds crazy! That Hadj Moussa is supposed to be good, they say he’s the next Mahrez. No bicycle kicks for him today though.

He's good but not a top class PL prospect IMO. Great dribbler, but kind of one dimensional at that, and slows the game down with his dribbling a lot as well.

Could also just be that a good coach would get a lot more out of him, but I've yet to see it.
 
Lol, and then Africans go cry when Carragher says nobody outside Africa gives a **** about AFCON. Most openly bought finale I've ever seen.

Interesting! I see he’s linked with Marseille, which could be a nice move. North African players always seem at home there, and the French league in general.

Just have to hope you don’t get on the wrong side of RDZ :-D
 
Mamadou Sarr was incredible tonight. A 6’5 colossus.

I know Jacquet is supposed to be a generational talent. But when you’ve already got Sarr, Acheampong, Ordonez, Anselmino and Colwill. Is spending £50m on another kid genius really the way to go?

Suppose if we’re getting rid of Tosin, Disasi, Chalobah and Badiashile, it might be ok. But still.

I'm not sure if I've seen her wrestling before. I've heard a lot of good stuff about her wrestling and character ability.

I think they've got a belt for every continent they visit, along with every town, city, and anywhere else. Yes, I'm just an old timer complaining about everything being better back then. I barely watch anything now, either, maybe click on a recent video now and again. It does suck because Raw is live on TV here for the first time tomorrow/tonight. I'm busy anyway, but there was no desire to go. I find that funny because I was the biggest WWF/E fan there is. Awk well.

I see Villa had an off day, and Emery was back doing his weird interviews about not finishing in the top 5. :alien:

I seem to remember I stopped watching around the time Raw and Smackdown kind of became their own teams? I don’t remember exactly, must’ve been very early 2000’s. Until then they were basically the same thing, just one on a Monday and the other on Thursday (I think). Was only 10-13 at the time so it’s a little blurry :-D

Yes Villa didn’t play well, apparently. I didn’t watch either game today, didn’t sound like I missed much. I watched the AFCON final though, not the best game, but the drama was very fitting. It’s a beautifully bonkers tournament, memorable for being meme-able.

I did find the Emery outburst funny. We’ve had Glasner, Amorim, Maresca and Emery all committing seppuku after letting a mediocre Arsenal side walk away with a title that was there for the taking. Even Guardiola is considering falling on his sword, possibly before the end of the season!? Maresca waiting in the wings. Richard Keys said that though, so maybe not.

As for Lisandro, I’m considering him for Badge In FC. This manager named Liam doesn’t tell you to wash your hands before you play with Lego, but he does send you for a club jacket fitting before joining the team.

Can't believe people arguing the Dortmund red card. Studs almost knee high when he makes contact. Don't even give a **** it's not much force because how the **** are you gonna measure that? These are millionaire athletes it's not too much to have the slightest control of not burying your studs into someone's leg.

I must admit, I was a bit disappointed when I turned the game on. Looked a bit chilly, but I was expecting a winter wonderland.

Was the 3 year anniversary of the death of Vialli a couple of weeks ago. Here’s some footage of him dancing through the snow :)

I’m a person who loves the cold and snow, but yeah, 2 months of no sunlight doesn’t sound ideal. It’s bad enough in England when you would go to school in the dark, and it would be dark when you came home at half 3 :-D
