The TT Football Club

Man Utd are now second best in the set-piece goals scored charts.
lol.webp

The Spurs fans chanting MVG at Luke Littler was quite amusing.

What’s with all this gloating from Man Utd fans?

Spare a thought for our forgotten friend Kralingen, he’s going through it right now on YouTube

And what about Chelsea fans? Spurs have always been a guaranteed 6 points for us each season. What happens next year when they’ve been relegated and replaced by Wrexham? We might only manage 4 against a decent team.

I hope you’re all pleased with yourselves!

Alisson being useless? Story of the seasono

The penalty was bad, but what was he doing all injury time? He took a throw in near the half way line, slipped on his arse when they played it back to him with Silva (I think) chasing him down. For the hilarious goal he was breakdancing on the edge of the Man City penalty box as Cherki was pea rolling it from the halfway line :-D

I think he’s been watching Trubin highlights and got a bit carried away.

Was all very Barclays.

On the other hand of goalkeeper performances, Vicario was great on Saturday. The difference between 2-0 and 8-0.

West Ham's recent form has been quite good. Let's go. GGMU

Some say the odds are good on Tonali, and he might be worth a bet as a Manchester United midfielder next season. Fascinating.

I was thinking about that the other day. Moves seem to be in the works, a lot of them in midfield.

Right now I’d say

Tonali to Arsenal
Anderson to Man City
Wharton to Liverpool
Baleba to Man Utd (plus another, some scouted target)
Barco to Chelsea.

The other two interesting names?

Can see Diomande at Liverpool (they didn’t replace Diaz). Alvarez to Arsenal (Jesus replacement).

I can see us using the buyback on Moreira too.

Either way, I think those are names that will probably be on the move. The clubs are up in the air though.

Wouldn't have minded a draw but I guess City winning keeps the title race interesting plus Liverpool are now five points behind us while in the worst form of the top eight and will be missing arguably their best player after that silly red card in the last minute.

''It has been two full years since United won five straight, with that run coming between January and February of 2024 under Erik ten Hag. He led United to an FA Cup defeat of Newport County, followed by league triumphs over Wolves, West Ham, Aston Villa, and Luton Town before Fulham finally brought the run to an end.''

That's all I've got today. A random newspaper quote, sorry. I guess the most fascinating thing is that it is the same time of the year, January-February.

Amad's effort at the end of the half reminds me of 2k so much because I've been in the position of not getting the ball, and then at the last second of the quarter, you're expected to make your first shot. ''You have to be locked in at all times, cuh.''

I was so sad when Casemiro was denied. United just didn't offer much until the very end when West Ham did their usual tightening up, but I thought the Zirkzee chance would be our final go. Not talking bad about Amad or anything, but damn, would have been amazing if he went alone for the final effort.

That Sesko finish though. Science.

How have we thrown that away lmfao. Comical defending

Hilarious :-D

Looked absolutely incredible for 84 minutes. But had 6 minutes of u11’s Sunday league stuff in the middle. It came from nowhere, then we went back to being amazing again?

The defending for the equaliser was almost as funny as the non goal at Anfield at the weekend, then we had the referee having a mare.

“Yes he handballed it, but it was accidental!”. Ok, that’s fine in general play.

They’ve changed the rule in the last year, if it touches the opponents arm and leads to a goal, it’s automatically ruled out. No?

Just say you didn’t see it hit his arm if you were so intent on giving the goal. Better to be a liar than incompetent, maybe? Pick your poison with that one.

Easily one of the most frustrating Chelsea games in recent history and unfortunately a game like this is a recurring and frequent problem.

The amount of times I’ve seen us outplay opponents and lose due to mistakes is just too many. It adds up. We’re nearing a decade without a title.

Really was. And we played so well! We actually looked dangerous against a back 5 for once. Can’t remember the last time I said that.

The defending for the second goals as kind of like the Sunderland one, where Tosin and Chalobah were just standing there whilst Brobbey held it up then laid it off. Think yesterdays might be more comical though.

What the hell is going on in Crystal Palace Burnley :D
15 minutes ago, Oliver Glasner was punching the air in delight on the touchline. Now he's punching somebody in the face in the dressing room. No longer passive-aggressive banters from the man, he's gone all out.

Yeah, that match does sound like pure entertainment.

This is only the 4th time Burnley have scored 3 in a first half in the Premier League - Also v Chelsea in August 2018, v Wolves in April 2021 and v Brentford in October 2021, winning all three games.

Aston Villa falling apart. I believe we will pass them by the end. Sorry, Dad. :giggle:8-B

That would be sweet; it felt unimaginable a while back there. I think we have to get lucky and hope for no injuries. Yeah, that's a bit unrealistic, no big injuries to major players like Casemiro.

But still, it's better than what it was. Back on Monday night football after a week off. Let's go.
