The TT Football Club

Another problem with having no midweek fixtures is that it sends the bs reports into overdrive. I think this is all that needs to be said about Mac Allister to Man Utd. ''More chance of Slot growing a perm.'' Indeed there is. Fabrizio Romano is doing his usual farming, so maybe he will find what Slot is looking for.

Supposedly, another Saudi bid for United as well. Roll on next Monday. No, the offer is for Man Utd to play in Saudi Arabia during the pre-season.

Stay strong!

We’re only a few days away from VdV and Danso playing on the wing in a front 3. Udogie and Porro in the Frank Lampard 8 role and Gallagher/Sarr wide CB’s.

Against Arsenal :-D

When you come here to play Bodø, expect that you will both freeze and get burned at the same time... I'll see myself out now lol. Just hold out at the Meazza lads. What a story this has been.

Why hello Arsenal. The bottling is gaining momentum now? Got to further improve bullying of goalkeepers on set pieces I guess...

Raya with the Onana tier tonight.

''If Raya comes for it, he'd better bloody catch it, and he doesn't. Now we will hear ARtetA oUT.''

I can sort of understand Raya's mindset. He didn't come out for Wolves' first goal, and they ended up scoring, funnily enough. Great goal to be fair, well hit. But yeah, he dived right on top of Gabriel and messed up big time for the equaliser.

I heard that a lot of the players grew up together and are from the local area? Like Hauge moved to Milan, but he didn’t like it. He just wanted to go home and play with his mates.

No idea if the commentators were just romanticising it, but it’s a great story if it’s true.

I know for sure that captain Berg, Hauge and Bjørkan were born in Bodø. Not sure about the rest but the squad is dominantly Norwegian. 9 out of 11 starters tonight. Takes me back to pre-Bosman times.

Impossible to not love Bodø. Unironically the toughest place to win in the world atm.

Kral and Nacho back just in time for this Arsenal annual title bottle. Lovely

We’ve got a sponsor!

Kind of.

Seems it’s some Swedish AI company called ASIF.AI or something.

There’s good news and bad news. The good news is they’re loaded, worth £15bn and will happily give us ridiculous money year on end.

The bad news? They’re one of Clearlake’s companies :-D so the team have no incentive to try and do well. The money will be flowing in regardless. They won’t be pulling out like Spurs’ sponsors because they’re fighting relegation 2 years in a row. Why don’t we just not bother? The clubs getting paid either way.

But here’s the catch..

The funny thing is, Clearlake are probably more likely to spend on the team to have them do well.. not for us, their £4bn asset, but to bring more exposure to their £15bn AI company :-D

One of us is being used here. And with Private Equity owners? You know it’s not the “asset” worth 3 times more than their football club.

3 months away, and yet, the more things change the more they stay the same.

Gunners waltzing to the title with the quadruple under aim. A sumptuous NLD victory today will take them 5 points clear.

Spurs sacked their awful manager, had a disastrous summer AND winter window, and felt that a man named Igor will keep them from relegation. He will not. Spurs are going down, I’m 99% certain.

Meanwhile in other leagues, Harold Edward Kane is still best striker in the world by far. Bellingham benched by Tuchel, underperforming, and position at risk for the World Cup this summer.

As I said, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Relegation.

We’ve joked about it all season.

But it’s looking like Spurs, Forest and West Ham in a straight shootout for 11 games. The one who picks up the fewest points in that mini league is gone.

I’d say it’s still unlikely Spurs go down, but it’s probably the first time a top team genuinely might. Obviously that has something to do with how strong the promoted teams are (Leeds and Sunderland anyway). But yeah, concerning.

Gunners title and Spurs relegation is a monkey’s paw reaction to the trophy we won. I’ve accepted that at least. But for it to come like this, where the direct rival for relegation is none other than Western Ham, is too comedically dark to bear.

To be clear I have zero hope remaining. Spurs are getting relegated, it’s no longer a hypothetical or a joke.

Very simple reasoning. We have by far the laziest, mentally weakest and least honorable squad in the PL. In relegation battles it’s not at all about quality. It’s character that shines through, and this team has absolutely none of it. You can tell they don’t believe relegation is a reality that could actually happen to them, or worse, some do know and they don’t care.

I watched all of the bottom 6 this weekend. Spurs were the worst, the furthest from professional, and the weakest. By far and away. They’re going down.

As I’ve said before, nobody knows their team better than the fans. If you think it’s happening, that holds weight.

In your absence I’ve been saying how I can’t stand clubs messing about and not striving to better their cause. There are only really a couple of teams in the league who do that, and they’re being punished badly. Wolves are one, it didn’t have to come to this. Spurs are definitely one. We’re the other. Delap, Gittens, Hato, Garnacho after making UCL and winning the CWC? Act unserious, don’t be surprised when you get punched in the mouth.

With so many teams looking for marginal gains, data and even the worst teams in the league being loaded.. you mess about and give up 1-2%? You get what you deserve.

Sometimes I think @Kralingen not being allowed to log in is better for his mental health. Gunners Gunners Gunners Gunners and Warriors. And Duke. It's not good

Gunners will lose to @Feña14 and at the Etihad.

They'll lose again to @Feña14 in UCL when Chelsea does a CWC redux.

I am not losing sleep tonight.

Haha probably! Right now it feels like we won’t win another game for the rest of the season. The schedule is very tough. I think on paper, the easiest games are Everton and Sunderland away. The rest are all Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool, Villa, City etc.. you’re always guaranteed a combination of a red card, Sanchez throwing one in, the centre backs switching off for half an hour or Delap not being able to improve on his goal tally of 1. Hard to win games like that!

That team that destroyed Barcelona already is waiting in UCL. I'm actually not even joking around, I fully expect it. Chelsea and funnily enough Liverpool are the teams I trust most in Europe atm. I feel like City will save its magic for domestic play this year but we shall see. I still don't expect Arsenal to win anything.

I think that’s fair, it’s definitely in the realm of possibility. Personally I wouldn’t be mad at tanking the league and going for the UCL instead.

It’s 7 games, knockout football and winning it feels about as likely as getting top 5.

Why kill yourself against Villa or Man Utd when you can rest up for a quarter final against Dortmund or something. Going to go heavy against Liverpool away in the league before playing Madrid in a semi 3 days later? Who cares if we’re 8 by that point. Go and get the trophy.

Not a chance Spurs go down, that's just Kralingen doing his thing. I'll make a bet, if Spurs go down, I leave this site for good. I kind of want to leave anyway, so this could be the boot out the door to make such a dream possible.

Deal? OK then Deal. Good stuff. (y)

As usual with United, they are holding out on us with updates. I've been hearing for weeks now that De Ligt is ready to go next week. Maybe even months, losing track of time quite frequently, so forgive me if I'm a month off.

It's time to leave Amad out of the starting lineup, well, if I had the choice, I would. Sesko must start tonight. And if he is cheeks, so be it, but he actually offers something, and it's hard to ignore now. Put Bryan out wide and Cunha on the other side with Sesko as 9. Pretty please.

I do admit that Spurs' performance yesterday was one of the worst you will ever watch, but it's a sorry state of affairs with the amount of cheating Gabriel is doing. Again, it goes back to the famous crowd chant - ''boring boring Arsenal'', no, not that one, the other one, ''same old Arsenal, always cheating.'' But yeah, he's Gabriel, he's been creamed over by a variety of pundits, so obviously, he will be allowed to cheat till his heart is content.

Viva La Gabriel. I lie, I cheat, I steal.

And you had to do that against the Spurs. lol Absolutely unbelievable. Then they are soaking over Gyokeres, too, because he finally has a decent game. Eze is now better than Ronaldinho again because he had his regular good game vs Spurs.

It's all quite comical.

Some positive words, I don't think I'd like the cut of my jib if I weren't me. In fact, I still don't like it, but anyway.

Hope Gizo is alright. I started thinking about him because of Sheffield Wednesday's relegation. I can remember him talking about them a bit. Also, the dastardly Burnley is causing some mischief.
