The TT Football Club

''Are they out of ideas?''

I think the question is, did they have any in the first place, darling?'' Sorry,y that is out of order. Darling is incredibly sexist, even if I think it's endearing.

I would sack Tudor tonight and bring in Sherwood or ‘Arry. The tactics are going to be awful anyway. Give me someone who at least understands what it means for ****s sake. If we’re actually going to go down, I want to see them dying for the shirt. I would legitimately appoint Ledley King if he would do it.

Spurs better pull something out of their arse, because I don't actually want to leave this place despite everything.

Time for me to get selfish. Time for United to sign Archie.

Seems every fan base is circling the carcass :-D

Our CB’s are really bad, so I’ll take VdV and Romero. Solid depth options, behind Tosin and Badiashile

All that’s separating them from away days at Stockport, Lincoln and Wycombe. Crazy.

I just hope they can put up a bit of a fight and survive… until the penultimate game of the season. Imagine relegation being confirmed at Stamford Bridge?

A decade on from bottling the league title in the infamous Battle of the Bridge game, could be the day relegation is confirmed.

Don’t you get your hopes up.

We’ll be relegated far before then

You missed your golden ticket. Neil Warnock to Torquay a few days ago.

In all seriousness, this is the most embarrassing sporting moment of the entire 21st century. Nothing compares to it.

In that sense, I am actually somewhat excited for the new direction of the club, because it will be such a historic calamity that massive upheaval will come and thus perhaps a new beginning. It will also get rid of all of our overpaid cuntwaffle players who can’t even run for 90 minutes despite making £100k a week. This will set us back decades, of course, and be the biggest humiliation of any PL club in the 21st century, but at least it’ll be something new. I can’t be bothered to even get out of bed half the time since Poch left.

Is it time for InvertTheWing?

Unlike against Paris Saint Germain in March 2017, this time we were one goal short of a magnificent comeback. Atletico are in their first final since 2013 and will play the 2020 winners Real Sociedad in Sevilla in mid-April. They defeated city rivals Bilbao both home and away to earn their final ticket.

Couldn't have asked more from the players, they made Atletico sweat until the very end. Could have scored more if not for Musso being great in goal for them, but on the other hand we were fortunate to keep a clean sheet. Proud of the effort shown.

Unfortunately we lost both Balde and Kounde to injuries and will have to adapt without them for several weeks. Same with De Jong. Can't catch a break with the injuries over the last two seasons. Every week it is difficult to tell what will happen next, and I dread international breaks for the same reason. Thankfully Pedri is back and Gavi is not far away, while Cancelo has impressed since joining on a second loan to Barcelona.
Real Madrid with a second consecutive loss in La Liga just now. :cautious: From @El Joc Màgic praying that Barca have less than three points deficit before El Clasico to Barca leading by four points just two weeks later is some scary Catalan voodoo I swear...
I saw highlights the day after. Rudiger hitting a player down into the face with his knee and not even getting a yellow card let alone a red is something that didn't surprise me. With them enjoying these "fortunate escapes" here and there in the era of VAR no less, 4 points is almost nothing really. But I understand it is more popular with the younger generations to ignore daylight robberies and construct stories about Barca, Manchester(s), Ajax etc being privileged for having more debatable or 50/50 decisions go their way sometimes. Rant over.

The result did surprise me however. Getafe being an irksome opponent to everyone is something that people outside of Spain have become familiar with as well. Dreading our visit to them in the spring, but certainly thankful they pulled this off.

As for what you said regarding Newcastle last night, I would like that too. :p How realistic is it, we will see...

First paragraph : Duke losing with Flagg and Kon worse.

After all the doom and gloom that is Spurs, I think it’s time for something a bit more upbeat. Like WW3.

I’m more interested in the fella in the middle. Who is it? I’ve narrowed it down to Tommy Shelby, Santiago Morales or Ashleigh Neville.

I suppose a year in the Championship could be quite good. It’s a story to tell the grandkids about, play some teams you never normally get to and as you say, maybe it’ll get them to sort themselves out and start acting properly.

The season after in League One though? That’s not ideal.

A barber talked about his worst times on the job, other than COVID. There was a time when everybody wanted the Tommy Shelby cut, but then complained afterwards because it looked stupid on them. Only Tommy could pull it off.

:-D Funny you say that, it’s basically what I’ve had since COVID. I’ve not been to the barbers since and it’s all I can manage by myself. Just shave the sides and trim any crazy bits up top.

Probably not the best look, but I can’t be dealing with £15 every few weeks and all the barbers seem to be Albanian by me so they don’t know what I ask for! I’ve come out with all sorts over the years. I’ve come out with grade 3 all over, even a side part at one point! Just not worth the risk.

In case anyone still doesn’t understand my feelings toward Robert Lewandowski, he sums them up perfectly. A jealous, insecure, selfish narcissist. A weirdo and ultimately a fraud.

King Kane is the best striker in the world. Sold him and immediately got relegated. The most impactful player in the sport since Messi exited his prime.

I liked Bayern Lewy. Barka Lewy no ty

I'm not a politician, and I don't desire to be one, but at the same time, we need strong leadership, and I should be president of the United States. Zion Williamson could do a job for Tottenham.

A victorious visit to Bilbao against Athletic today. In the game between two teams who had very little clue what to do, a magnificent curler from Yamal right into the top corner in off the post was the difference maker. Both teams played Copa semis during midweek but I expected to see more regardless.

The first half was mostly controlled by Barca in terms of possession, but very little to show for it. Ferran wasted a great pass from Yamal and had a decent flick attempt from the corner delivery, but no shots on target in the opening 45 minutes, a rarity.

The start of second half was a bit better, but terribly sloppy after scoring the goal, I can't recall when Barca lost the ball that many times in our own half, on several occasions without being pressured. Fortunate that Bilbao weren't good enough either to take advantage. They have been generally below their usual standards. Only 30 goals in La Liga so far and unsurprisingly in the middle of the table now, a noticeable drop from last season when they qualified for the Champions League.

Of all the substitutions, only Pedri made a noticeable impact, being the one guy calm in possession when given the chance, and providing an excellent assist for the sole goal. Raphinha put in the effort though in his defense most passes never came close to reaching him.

Same goes for the jealous, insecure, selfish, narcissistic, weird fraud from Poland who returned after a brief absence due to eye injury. Considering Ferran's drop in form is a bit worrying, hopefully the veteran can deliver soon like he used to in the past, so we get a chance for more glory this season. And who knows, maybe he stumbles his way into a 14th domestic league of his own...

With this result, and another usual robbery from los ladrones del futbol yesterday, the difference at the top of the table remains 4 points. But enough barking from me today. A visit to Newcastle coming up next, and hopefully a significant improvement from what we saw today...

“Welcome to Wrexham”?

More like Alejandro turns up and wrecks ‘em :)

Proper FA Cup tie, but our depth is so bad. JP is one of the most in form players on the planet at the moment, but the difference when he came on was scary. He looks like he’s playing an entirely different sport to Tosin, Delap etc..

18130 posts in here now. 18129 is full of absolute trash. You're welcome. And here is another.

Baller league starting up.

@Federer and Del Potro Sterling is such a fraud man, can't even hack it in the Eredivisie

He was washed when he left Man City, hence why they wanted to get rid. It’s understandable, he started playing very young and had played an enormous amount of football by then.

Unfortunately Tuchel really wanted him (his talent ID is crap) so we ended up giving him like £350k a week :-D

That scarred the owners and they vowed never to give anyone more than £180k a week ever again.

It’s like they burnt toast and decided to go gluten free after that. Which is a bit ridiculous really. When you think they had Olise on a plate and decided against it because he wanted £200k, and countless other missed opportunities. All because of that one domino. Not Sterling’s fault, but it shows how useless our owners are.

Meanwhile, soft Man United fans are upset because of Paul Scholes telling the truth. They've all turned against Scholesy. Thankfully, I'm not mentally weak like that; I can take criticism. (y)

I did like this comparison, though. Credit to the poster.
Keane is football's Gordon Ramsay

Scholes is the Marco Pierre White

One plays up their personality for the telly, the other is genuinely a bleep.

At least there is Champions League football this week.

Man United have Villa next Sunday, Bournemouth the following Friday, and then that's it for about 3 weeks before we play Leeds.

Yeah, looks like I will have to follow some baller league again. lol

Depending who we get in the FA Cup draw tomorrow, and what happens v PSG. Returning after the international break would have us playing 5 games in 13 days. A game every 2.6 days essentially. Those games…

FA Cup (potentially Arsenal, Man City or Liverpool).
UCL v Liverpool
PL v Man City
UCL v Liverpool
PL v Man Utd

That would be hilarious :-D

Enzo and Caicedo have played 120 games each in the last 18 months. They’ve got up to 20 left this season, then they play their 3rd summer in a row with warm up games and the World Cup. Before jumping straight into another season.

I know you should always appreciate games, no doubt the international breaks are boring.. but how the hell are they managing that? I feel a bit sore after 5-a-side. Crazy.

Bodo are at decent odds to win at home against Sporting thought they would be at least slight favourites after their wins over big teams at home.
