It's almost as if PL teams are running out of gas again.Premier League has embarrassed itself this week. One week left to fix it

I don't think fitness had much to do with PSG beating Chelsea there; perhaps there was some tiredness, but I just think it was a difference in class tonight. They didn't help themselves with the goalkeeper errors.Almost as if they're bad
And fully fit City losing 3-0 to hospital Madrid is inexcusable.I don't think fitness had much to do with PSG beating Chelsea there; perhaps there was some tiredness, but I just think it was a difference in class tonight. They didn't help themselves with the goalkeeper errors.

Yeah, I don't think 5-2 was one of those true reflections of the game sort of things. It was definitely competitive. PSG played like a well-oiled machine, pardon the pun.I mean, the goal Enzo scored. We had two more of those. JP in the first 2 minutes and Palmer right before the Dembele goal. Could easily of had 5 ourselves.
But I just find it funny. Chelsea fans are taking it far too seriously imo. This is the team that’s been built, Rosenior seems pretty good.. but we can’t say that for sure for another 4-5 years of proving himself. The product on the pitch is what’s been created by the model and the execution of it.
I was expecting some nice stuff and some Benny Hill theme tune stuff, like we get every game. That’s what we got.
When you realise what it is, it’s actually quite enjoyable. I have no expectations, get to see some pretty stuff, have a good laugh at the comedic moments. Obviously it’s not going to win many games, but there’s plenty of entertainment there!
Those thinking we’ll be challenging for trophies up against serious teams seem pretty down, and I get it.. but we’re not even playing the same game as them. What is there to be mad about?

If I was a Chelsea fan I’d be fuming they deserve to at least draw the game not lose 5-2
Spurs arguably didn’t even have a bottom 2 performance amongst PL clubs this round which is completely unthinkable.
Chelsea’s defending and goalkeeping was miles worse than yours.Spurs arguably didn’t even have a bottom 2 performance amongst PL clubs this round which is completely unthinkable.
A group of fans met with a club director recently, and say they were met with arrogance and dismisivness. Via @NotAProjectCFC
• On the departure of Maresca, the director said that a coach’s overall impact is overestimated, and that there is no statistical relationship between managers and results.
• According to the board director, problems with Maresca stemmed from him not being offered some of the same contract details that the sporting directors have in place..
• The director could not put a timeline on when Chelsea will compete at the top again, but that it was ‘f’ing obvious we are building one of the best teams in the world” The director denied they were being condescending and told us we have no more right to be upset than they do (despite the fact we are paying fans).
• The club’s effort to reduce the wage bill has been seen as a means of offsetting the spend on players so far, and the director was honest about there being no appetite to compete for more established Premier League signings for this reason. A handful of players that have been successful for us were given as some sort of justification for this approach.
• The club director spoke very disrespectfully about what was achieved under the previous ownership and of individuals involved in that time. In their view, the current ‘project’ consisting of vast expenditure and player churn is the only means with which we can hope to compete at the elite level at some point in the future.
• Chelsea simply cannot afford to compete for the likes of Semenyo and Guehi, and that players with resale value is a more realistic approach.
• The club director expressed surprise that, in view of the club still being 13 points off the top of the table at the time (this has risen to 19 points at the time of writing), in the fourth season of a ‘transitional period’, fans are not showing more patience. Although the director admitted they hoped for more progress this season.
• Luis Enrique would not be the right fit for us as manager, and John Terry is not the right fit ‘proffesionally’ and should not be involved in first team affairs.
“After arriving for the meeting, we were kept waiting in the foyer of the building for a while, as the club director was in another meeting with Chelsea-supporting content creator Matisse Armani”
“Once the meeting began, it became very clear to us early on that the club’s primary motivation for the meeting was to in effect present to us a sales pitch and attempt to talk us round to their way of thinking”
“We were told, in no uncertain terms, that despite having the highest net spend in the Premier League on new players since BlueCo’s takeover, that the club is struggling to compete financially with Europe’s top clubs”
Had a dream Chelsea led 4-0 in the 2nd leg and then conceded 2 goals in the last 2 minutes to lose 7-6 on aggregate and @Feña14 came into my office throwing stuff around raging.
Up to our eyeballs in injuries. It’s a comedy at this point. Relegation. Relegation. Relegation.
Let's smash those Villains. Come on, United.![]()
I no longer doubt you. Gyokeres' 89th-minute winner says it all.Gunners look absolutely impregnable at the Emirates. Hard to see a single competition they don’t win this season. Quadruple incoming.
