Semi-late equalizer, don't know how to feel about the point now. Hopefully a new winning run will start against the ugly Stoke (and continuing progress in other competitions as well).

Massive f u to my commentator who said several times during the match that Ibra never scored against Liverpool.

Pogba denied you a win. :p

Good game, miles better than the one at Anfield. Neither team was superior so draw is a fair result.

    Was a good game.

I thought we were heading for defeat and Liverpool might get us with a counter to go 2-0. Felt like that sort of game. Getting a point after being behind so long kind of feels like a win.

Pogba better get some good sleep, he was poor today. Not because of the brain fart he had in the penalty box, it happens, but he lost the ball many times because he wanted to perform his trickery. On some other day Liverpool probably would have accepted that gift and scored from a counter. Hopefully Mourinho has something similar to Fergie's hairdryer in store for Pogba.

Technology for offside should be installed in the future. Rooney wasn't offside when his shot was saved while I think Valencia was offside in the build up to our goal.

Since my complaint how we have had a lot of decisions against us this season, we scored two (?) offside goals and opponent's player was harshly sent off. For some reason I don't want to call it justice because other teams suffer just like we did before.

There is probably relief, though the gap between you and 4th is 4 points now. A win in one of the derbies would mean a lot.

Still can't get over those stupid 4 consecutive home draws. Clearly superior in all those games but ended up winning none of them.

Maybe Cristiano will be willing to come to Carrington for a few days to teach these folks how proper finishing is done. Ibra can't seem to do it all on his own.

Reality check for Man Utd, need an offside goal to get a point against a Liverpool side playing a kid at right back and missing 3 of our most important players 4 if you count Coutinho who could only play half an hour.

Good game overall though, see Mourinho trying to claim Liverpool played defensive, more defensive, the side with more shots, more on target, more touches in the opposition box, more corners. Although I doubt he really believes that(now that the pressure's off him a bit he can do his usual routine to take attention away from his team), the difference between Liverpool today and Mourinho's bus job at Anfield is night and day.

Annoyed by Herrera's embarrassing play acting clutching his face after being pushed in the chest.

Good player, but a total ****ing *****. In essence a perfect Man Utd player.

Yeah, United lost some ground again, although the gap between second and sixth is 5 points. Really tight beneath Chelsea. I'm almost ready to call them champions.

Didn't know that. It's all really open then. I think Chelsea and Tottenham will go to Champions League, other four will have to fight for the remaining spots.

    Sevilla-Real Madrid 2-1

Typically, Real took the lead through a Ronaldo penalty. Then, Ramos scored late again, but this time it was an own goal. There was just enough added time for Sevilla's new signing Jovetic to score the winner. Finally after 40 games Real lose.

    Begin the meltdown! :D

Sergio Ramos scoring a late own goal and Real Madrid losing the game in stoppage time has karma written all over it.

Even if a meltdown happens, at this moment Barcelona don't look good enough to take advantage of it.

Bad loss. You take the lead which you have until minute 85 and you end up losing, terrible. Ronaldo is turning now into a stats boy, he needs to score a goal to look impressive because his general contributions to the team play have been far from good if that makes sense. Hope I am wrong though.

Don't be naive @Tiki-Taka. This makes the title race wide open. You of all people know what happened with Barcelona last season. They went on an unbeaten run of 39 games, double digit lead over both rivals in the league, and then the run ended in the El Clasico when you shockingly lost at home to 10 men Real Madrid, after scoring first as well. Then you went on to lose to Atletico in the CL and suffered a few more losses in the league as well, making the title race go on until the final day. Easier end of schedule and clinical play of MSN got you over the finish line in the end. Now it's only half the season gone, Real's 40 game unbeaten run is snapped, they have a 5 point lead (assuming they win their game in hand) which is way smaller than the lead Barca had at the latter point of last season, and most crucially this squad hasn't shown composure in La Liga in recent years. Even the one Real won under Mou ended up being more complicated than it should have been. You better get very optimistic if the gap is 3 points or smaller going into the next El Clasico, which I can definitely see happening.

You are overreacting. Just a few days ago you said that Barcelona have done poor transfer business, how everyone except Messi is out of form and how we have failed to capitalize on Real Madrid not strengthening their squad in the summer, that this was a great opportunity for another La Liga blown. Now to give Barca a tag of a favorite all of a sudden is ridiculous. We are not having consistency and we have dropped too many points to the teams that we should be easily beating. Real Madrid aren't having these problems to the same extent, while all the next big games for them will be played at the Bernabeu. At this moment, I certainly don't see us catching them. Sevilla have been doing well and are now a close 2nd but I don't see them lasting for an entire season to challenge for La Liga either.

You two are adorable, giving the other team the title, in January.

Funny thing, it's the Premier League that has the biggest gap between 1st and 2nd at the moment.

Real Madrid lead Sevilla by 1 point with a game in hand
Juventus lead Roma by 1 point with a game in hand
Bayern Munich lead Leipzig by 3 points
Monaco and Nice are level on points
Benfica lead Potro by 4 points
Feyenoord lead Ajax by 5 points
Spartak Moscow lead Zenit St Petersburg by 5 points
Chelsea meanwhile lead Tottenham and Liverpool by 7 points

You're giving famous competitiveness of the EPL a bad name @Feña14 :p

Can't speak about the other leagues. I'm not seeing Chelsea lose this. Just a well oiled machine with no European distractions. Love to be proved wrong and hopefully they lose their next game. But a cigar is a cigar.

    That's the way it's looking :D

I wouldn't call it just yet personally, there are a few big games coming up against Liverpool and Arsenal. Still have to go to Old Trafford. Plus there really isn't any room for injuries, Luiz has been playing injured since Aguero assaulted him, Alonso has had to play with a groin injury the last month etc.. The squad is very thin.

I'd still back us to win it all, but I don't think it'll be a double digit procession.

The curse of Anoeta is finally over. For the first time since 2007, we defeated Real Sociedad at their stadium. Neymar's penalty sealed a 1-0 win, one of the ugliest wins for us in recent memory. 2nd leg of this Copa quarterfinal next week.

It happened two days ago (no I am not using Internet Explorer) but Real lost 2-1 again, this time at home to Celta in cup quarterfinals.

    Continue the meltdown!

The undisputed worst signing of all time, post Alex Ferguson, is on his way to Lyon. Deal could eventually rise to 22m and there is a buyback clause in his contract.

I'm not even sure the maestro could put together a 2 minute highlight package of great Manchester United moments from Memphis Depay.

    Good luck to him.

To me it seems like there was too much hype around Memphis when he arrived. Got to put less pressure on younger players, it's stupid. A lot of playing time probably awaits him at Lyon now.

What really surprised me was that Di Maria didn't become one of those number seven legends. That flair or something that described Best, Cantona and Ronaldo during their years with you is what I thought he would show regularly too.

Don't give the number to Pogba. :p;)
