Takin' a dive 'cause you can't halt the slide
Floating downstream, I'm takin a dive

    I don't believe PSG took a dive.

I've lost count of the dodgy decisions I've seen in boxing. Not football obviously, but I know the world is not all black and white.

Comebacks do happen and teams can freeze. Look at PSG panicking before they came out for the second half. The occasion got to them and they are not exactly proven winners at the very highest level. Barcelona had an electric crowd supporting them. It was all too perfect the way Barcelona won. Just say that Neymar free kick goes over the bar? Was that a planned goal? But whatever. Think whatever you want.

I still believe in the romance of it all.

Same for me, I used to watch as much Premier League that I could and a couple of Serie A games a week. These days it's just Chelsea, a few games that could have an impact on us and the latter stages of the Champions League. Tennis, rugby, cricket and life in general has to get a look in at some point!

Definitely a bit of both, the players (Willian and Azpilicueta aside) weren't interested. There's no excuse for that, but I think Mourinho and his intensity, the siege mentality, chip on the shoulder style had worn them down. It won them the league the previous year, but the players just didn't want to be put through the ringer again. That's what it looked like to me.

Conte has them driven and tactical sound, but they seem to be enjoying it a lot more and it feels like a more sustainable way of doing things. Even when we won the league, it was a tough old slog and looked mentally tiring. We didn't play well at all after January and ground it out really. So you could say the signs were there that the wheels would fall off, not as drastically as they did, but it was always a possibility.

You could hear the noise coming through the tv after you scored your first. Almost felt like I was sitting in the stadium. Yeah, you hear noise coming through the tv a lot at football games, but this was a different sort of noise. It was making me believe and did the same for the teams. PSG couldn't handle it.

Depends on the seat you choose and on how many there are left. Anything between 70 and 500 Euros is possible.
It really was different, I don't think I experienced anything like this before, and Camp Nou has had many memorable games.

From some news I've read, it looks like our celebrations of the sixth goal caused a micro-earthquake. We reached one (1) on the Richter scale.

Most of the time for the west stand. Was spending with a lot less control when I was younger but now I usually try to save as much as possible. Football isn't everything.

While Barcelona are going to La Coruna to face Deportivo, I am still trying to realize that this team has managed to reach Champions League quarterfinals.
    Really. :)
I follow when there is something interesting going on but I rarely attend.

I think English teams should have Basketball like they do in Spain, Turkey etc...

Man Utd need to find something that Pogba is good at ;)

Maybe it will be like your last FA Cup. A lot of main rivals getting upset, you making it difficult for yourselves but winning in the end. With recent inconsistent performances I could definitely see you struggling but managing to progress. I hope we will meet each other in the UEFA Super Cup. ;)

City have reached the semifinal. Arsenal will join them once they beat Lincoln later today. If Tottenham progress as well, the winner of Chelsea-Manchester United match will complete one of the strongest FA Cup semifinal line-ups ever.
I need to be convinced more by the performances. Lyon/Roma and Ajax are the remaining dangerous teams remaining, while we haven't even knocked out Rostov yet, the current result doesn't make it safe.

Wish I could say the same, you lucky b@st@rds. :D

Once more I have to decide which EPL match to watch knowing that I always choose the least entertaining. Bournemouth West ham today so avoid that unless you are looking for a sleep aid.

That is a very strong line up. We could have to beat Man Utd, Tottenham and Man City back-to-back to win it all

Stoke, Wigan, Hull, Villa, Palace have all been in recent finals, so whoever a wins will definitely be doing it the hard way this time round.

So Memphis Depay scored a goal from the halfway line today, taking it to 5 goals in his first 9 games for Lyon. Two more and he will equal his Man United tally. Luckily he is cup tied so he can't unleash his anger if we end up meeting in the Europa League. :D

I know what you're all thinking. Sergio Ramos made a pact with the devil. There is just no better way to explain all that late goals at critical moments.

United no strikers against Chelsea probably playing the log that is Fellaini upfront. Good night and good luck.

I heard it will be Mkhitaryan. Could be Fellaini though. A few teams thought Chelsea were susceptible to diagonal balls into the box (Crouch caused damage, Alli scored two for Spurs) over the Christmas period.

Every team since then has tried it but we seem to have it fixed though. Carrol was supposed to exploit it last week but we handled it perfectly, but you never know, it's still a tactic most teams have tried and Fellaini would be the one to do with it.

Interested to see what United do with the lack of attacking options since they were coming to park the bus anyway. Have been looking forward to this game, but it sucks to not have one of Martial, Rashford or Rooney available. On top of the Ibra suspension.

Analysts doing their best to suggest that United won't be going all in. In other words, we can't Chelsea and this game doesn't matter as much as the Europa League now. That is 'stinking thinking' in my book

I think they need to go for it, no parking the bus. With the new rules this season of there being no replays, the last thing they want is a draining 120 minutes and penalties.

Parking the bus and be chasing the ball all game would be a disaster. So yeah, why not, put out an adventurous side and go for it I say.

Either the player is being stupid, too hot headed during the moment or hoped to get away with it. Refereeing is often inconsistent so really the players are tempting fate practically every time they break a rule.

It does open up the game so it's likely more entertaining for the neutrals. Rashford missed what I thought was a very good chance. He was great is getting past the Chelsea players but his shot was almosgt straight at Courtois.

Instead, United are getting dominated by this machine team.

I think the Rashford shot has been the only one on target. All it takes it one chance, but not looking like it is going to come.

Poor Man United lost to Chelsea once more. Game pretty much killed after the red card, but not taking anything away from Chelsea. Just too good right now.

Strange game. Man Utd looked decent for the first half an hour, but it took 2 world class saves to keep them in it. Then Chelsea had 75%+ of possession, which is probably 15% more than we've had in any game all season. Not entirely sure we knew what to do with it lol.
