According to Tony Pulis, Wenger told him that he's staying (can't imagine Wenger would confide in someone like Pulis can't imagine he's too great a fan of his). While Arsenal denying looking at Thomas Tuchel (that guy who took a great Dortmund side and kept them at more or less the same level and before that managed Mainz for a bit, what a career).

The Limbo continues for Arsenal fans.

Midfield might not be what it was in days gone by but it's still full of very good players. Think you're probably right about Bayern as the favourites, but probably I would imagine Barca 3rd favourites with Madrid probably ahead (although I imagine they might have been put higher because of football romantics meant probably they've been getting a lot of people betting on them after that comeback). But yeah probably support Barca I reckon for this season, wouldn't mind Atletico doing it either, been so close over recent years would be good for them to get it over the line this time.

Talk of Kane being back for the FA Cup semi-final I think. Obviously they are in a great position but they really struggled earlier in the season when he was out. Promises to be an interesting end to the season with those places up for grabs, pity the title is done and dusted so soon (barring a spectacular capitulation from helsea, which would of course make things very interesting).

Think it'd be dangerous to count Arsenal out of that, so many times people have thought they were gonna miss out and they never have, obviously with the unrest this season and the strength of some of the top sides it makes it seem maybe more unlikely. But it would not surprise me one bit if they go on a run and get top 4.

Yeah apparently said it was one of the most special days of his life. Slightly weird comment given some of his achievements I suppose but "reexamine" it? What does that even mean. As you say it's a pretty good point all things considered for him add to that the response after Europe, coming back into the game etc.

35 for me, but I missed out only on Palace from the current teams. Looks easy until you actually give a shot.

Yeah well there are always gonna be a few, especially in that time, but the only one I was never gonna get was Oldham, didn't know they'd been up. Was before I started following football when they were up. All the other teams I was aware had been up just couldn't think of them at the time. But the ones I missed surprised me, like Leicester and a bunch of other teams there now, only remembered Aston Villa in the last 30 seconds or so.

I will have a go later. I fancy my chances. I'll start off with London then work my way around. Can remember teams like Swindon because of the Eric Cantona stamp and his second sending off in like a week, or maybe I'm getting wires crossed somewhere. But anyway, stuff like that helps me remember teams.

    32 :(

I managed to name majority of teams that spent in the Premier League a lot but everything below 8 seasons is bad. Can't believe I forgot Nottingham Forest.

Disappointed personally but I would still come out as one of the best if I competed with my colleagues in Spain.

So Schweinsteiger has left for Chicago. I thought with so many games this season Mourinho would use an experienced and quality player but he rarely did. Pity Bastian didn't leave a big mark, I guess he arrived a bit late.

Turns out Luis Enrique's current assistant Juan Carlos Unzue could be the new Barcelona manager. It's a nice thing when former players or guys already spending time on the bench get the job, usually worked well for Barcelona.

Now a goal and two assists in a 3-1 away win vs Georgia. Nice.

    Kolarov is a MUG btw.

There are cons of dominance as well. It's very frustrating when it's over. Spain are going through that since the World Cup embarrassment. Not even some wins are satisfying.

Gianluigi Buffon just played his 1000th game in a 2-0 win over Albania.
