So now Tottenham can't finish below Arsenal even if they wanted to. I wonder if the FA Cup would save Wenger's job.

Nice leading PSG 2-0 with half an hour to go. This could be a decisive day in Ligue 1 title race. If the result stays the same, Monaco would have 3 points more with one game in hand (they have 4 more and PSG 3 more). I would love to see them hold on for their first league since 2000.

It's safe to say that the Premier League title race is now over. A very impressive win for Chelsea at Goodison Park. This was only Everton's second home league defeat of the season.

Still it was good to see Tottenham getting a convincing win over Arsenal though to maintain their long winning streak in the league. They will comfortably finish with more than 80 points this season which will be a nice achievement. It's worth remembering that out of the Premier League's top 6 teams, Spurs have by far the lowest wage bill:

    1) Man City £225 million
    2) Man Utd £220.8 million
    3) Chelsea £218 million
    4) Arsenal £200.5 million
    5) Liverpool £165.6 million
    6) Tottenham £121.2 million

I didn't even think that they'd finish in the top 4 again this season, given how much money the two Manchester clubs in particular have spent, so they've well and truly proved me wrong and deserve all the plaudits coming their way. I just hope that they can win a trophy soon whether it is the league or a cup competition. They've only won one trophy in the past 18 seasons since 1999, the 2008 league cup.
