    Seriously?

I think last week he compared this Manchester United squad to the Invincibles. Talk about massive early hype. :D
How long were those breaks man? Level 19 is not insanely high if you started 4 years ago. Did you also intentionally tank some seasons too so you wouldn't get promoted?

I played from 2011 to 2014. Regularly finishing high in the league but not winning it often. Cup was ok-ish. The Champions League was my best competition, won it 10 times. Last one was around the time Madrid won La Decima as well. :D It was fun. What kind of updates happened since then? Good luck in your league match.

They were comparing the start to last season and then Henry went into ''making a point'' mode. He says there was no entertainment and kind of a LVG hangover going on. I'm not mad enough to think United will go unbeaten this season, but I think back to last season and City exposing United. Sending United right back to square one. Don't see that same sort of exposure happening this year.

So all in all. Thierry Henry is entertained.

Martial has to start the next game. Rashford has played well twice. Just no end product. Martial has been on 20 minutes more or less and scored twice. All hail the super sub.

To go all Talk Tennis on you all. United false dawn exposed against City.

No false dawn with United 2017-2018 . Looking at the real deal now. :p

I guess the team must be doing very good when Henry says he is entertained. I hope he will be entertained the same way the whole season.
I did that too, but there is something else, I transferred to another club. Maybe this option wasn't installed yet while you were active. You could ditch your current club and pick some other from the lower levels. I went from level 17 back to level 1 and started all over again. Since this completely new look was installed I can't find that option. Wish I could because the number of tokens and packs remains the same after the transfer, and I have a ton of them.

The auction update is that you will keep all the tokens you offered if you end up losing the auction, which makes perfect sense, it's a freaking auction. Took them long enough.

The new competition was added this year - Super League. Just a fancy Top Eleven word for Europa League. 5th to 8th in the league go there and 3rd in CL groups join later, you know the rules. The winner gets to play in the CL next season regardless of the league position, basically you can perform a Manchester United. :D Since that is the only competition I haven't won yet I was tempted to finish between 5th and 8th this season because I thought I had no shot at winning the league. Really underestimated my players.

Also, there are associations. You are part of a group that has 4-6 clubs and compete against other associations. Every participant draws someone from the other association randomly and you play once at each ground. The association that wins the most points goes to the final, where the same thing applies. Losers play for 3rd place. This kind of tournament happens once a week, so four times in a season. There are lots of division levels out there. After the end of the season if you survive in the same division or get promoted, there is a token prize for each one of the participants. I was lucky to be invited by the captain of "Barca" association when they were already placed quite high and we are now in Gold Division 3, second highest divison of all. Just surviving in it will give each one of us 50 tokens which is a fantastic boost. Note that players don't get tired from these matches so a manager doesn't have to worry that associations will hinder the club in league/cup/CL.

The main update is that there are now visual representations of what is happening on the pitch. Would you believe me if I told you that I preferred the old one when there was only commentary? The footballers are just a bunch of circles, the whole gameplay doesn't look fluid like it should in a proper football match and you almost know what will be the end result of the cutscene at the start of it. That's why I tend not to attend matches even when I am available, screw the 8% possession bonus.

 Sorry to tell you this, but the era that I played in, though more simple, was more fun. :p

Let me know how the league final day goes.

Did not take long for the Wenger out stuff to begin. I thought I saw a helicopter when I was out for a walk.

Good start for Jese at Stoke.

Griezmann pulled a Ronaldo today and got a yellow card for diving and immediately after got sent off with his team 2-0 down. Atletico managed to get a draw with 10 men though.
    Ugly 1-0 win, yay.

That's my 18th league title in total. On my fake profile I guided United FC to six and now St Tropez 1964 to five. On my real profile which I just accessed after a long break, I got S.B.V. Excelsior to five. Despite my inactivity, the club has progressed by several levels on its own. Europa League spot guaranteed there next season, and an insane amount of cash.

I won one Cup in each of the three clubs and four Champions League titles, two in United FC and one each in the other two clubs. The standout achievement of my career is the treble in season 3 with St Tropez 1964. Outside of that, I am only great in the League. Had several runner-up finishes and semifinals in the Cup and CL sadly.

Ending it, sorry everybody for a small derail.

Aussie Aaron Mooy (love those double double vowels!) just scored the first Huddersfield Premier League goal at home in 45 years on a beautiful give-and-go return pass and an inward bender strike inside the post. The Newcastle goalkeeper was helpless. The defense might have pressed earlier on Mooy but it was a beauty! 1-nil Huddersfield as they pass 60 minutes.

Just promoted team has won the opening two games for a second season in a row. Hopefully Huddersfield won't finish it like Hull though.

Something special is about to happen with the very first Wembley EPL game to be "hosted" by the Spurs. Can they possibly fill the 75K seats with just Spuds and Yids??? There have to be some Gooners that show to harass Kane & Co. and a few Chelsea blue flags to fly, right?

Chelsea looking well organised today. That magic wand left foot from Alonso. Nice hair too. He got it all going on. :p

Tottenham have their work cut out.

I think Conte has wanted to play 3-5-2 for quite a while, he hasn't had the players for it though. He doesn't really have it now, but the injuries/suspensions/need to kick start things means it was worth a go. Looks decent so far!

Nice to see Kane diving and Dier with the studs up diving tackle. We'd be down to 9 on recent form if that was us

    Lloris, what a clown.

So Tottenham didn't lose even once in the league at White Hart Lane last season but now they already lost in their first game at Wembley. The best two home teams from last season both lost their opening matches there this time.

Only thing remaining is the Arabs slipping and it's Manchester and Huddersfield alone at the top. :D

Why is Messi playing as a defensive midfielder?

Poor guy is surrounded by mugs. For a few years now nobody can say with a straight face that he is lucky to be surrounded by a bunch of superstars.

    I don't think he got a touch there. :D

Exaggerating a bit about playing as a defensive midfielder.

Damn. Amazing tackle from Macherano there.

    Doing alright now. :p 2-0

But I know what you're saying. They are not the force they were compared to that golden age.

Meanwhile Neymar scores and assists in his second PSG game as well.
He regularly goes deep to organize attacks himself. The complete player.

I missed your resposne earlier. I'm not in rant about decisions mode yet. All going well for the Reds of Manchester. :p Quite fortunate actually because I could definitely see Pogba take a red card on a different day. You know the refs that are either anti United or just eager to send somebody off. He's looking the part right now as many imagined. Of coruse, too early to say and all that, but it is hard to complain with 2 goals 2 games and never disappearing in the matches.

Big win in the derby. That magical left foot to thank. Conte getting the crowd going at the end. Scenes. Lloris, dearie me.

I didn't see Man Utd (just the goals), but I did hear Pogba was lucky not to get a second yellow. It's amazing how the game works, when things are going well, you get the decisions and the lucky breaks. That's what makes today's game so impressive for me, towards the end of last season and the start of this we've had players sent off given half a chance, whilst Spurs today got away with diving and two of the most blatant reds you'll ever see (Dier and Vertonghen), an own goal etc.. to come back and win it with everything that's been going on was massive.

Let's hope this win is like the watershed moment we had last year against Arsenal when the system changed and things flipped.

Two goals and two assists last night in a 6-2 win over Toulouse. He has three and three in his first two games. His second goal yesterday was magical, as was the whole move for the Kurzawa goal.

Can't see PSG not cruising in France. And they should be one of the main contenders for the Champions League, I thought they had a quite decent shot in the last two seasons but they played horribly in the tie against City and obviously were on the receiving end of our great comeback. They should be going further than last 8 this time. Hopefully stopping Madrid at some point as well. :p

Ligue 1 might be a shoo in but, have serious doubts about Emery leading them to glory in Europe though.

    There's one of them.

    Rooney, Rooney.

Kyle Walker sent off. Not looking good for City. 1-0 Everton at half time.

City level after Sterling. Around 10 minutes left. City looking like they can score again. Dominating.

Doesn't matter which club he plays for, Rooney will always make these plastics' day miserable. :D

200 Premier League goals for this man. Stunning. Keep them coming, Wazza!

On a site note, Aguero's diving still hasn't declined. Impressive.

I hate when teams go defensive despite having an extra man on the pitch. Sterling wasn't going to waste chances forever.
EPL goal #1 was against Arsenal in 2002.

Goal #50 was against Manchester City in 2006.

Goal #100 was against Arsenal in 2010.

Goal #150 was against Manchester City in 2012.

Goal #200 was against Manchester City in 2017.

Which one of these two clubs is going to be on the receiving end of goal #250? :D

No hype yet. Previous two seasons also started with wins. Not as convincing as these but still. Let's keep it cool, like the boys on the pitch are doing.
Don't know but the ultimate dream is to see him score 261st at St James' Park. ;) Not looking realistic at the moment though.

Certainly won't be the last time they cause one of the "big" teams problems. I'm sure they quietly fancy themselves to crack the top 4.

They have Chelsea on Sunday, which should be a great game. Two big results in a row for them sets the tone for that top 4 challenge, whilst a loss could send Chelsea back into panic mode where the wheels fall off.

Not like we get to see it though, Sky have West Brom v Stoke on instead  and they wonder why people look to illegal streams!
