Finally Lukaku on the scoresheet as well. 11 in 10, then 0 in 7 or something like that. Wavy.
Now if only Real could have a meltdown in the Champions League too. :) No amount of karma will be enough for them but any start of it would be nice.

    Pathetic again.

Now with the way Barcelona have been playing for the last 10-12 years, the great generation of players they have, most notably Messi, I usually don't mind if we lose the title race to them, because they really are scary good and consistent. But not pushing until the end is awful. And this is not the first time that Real fell behind by such a margin early in the season. This La Liga title defense is set to be as pathetic as the previous one.

Oh well, the back to back CLs will always be remembered as a historic feat though.

Long way to go but hard to see West Ham staying up. At least we should get Millwall next year!

Valencia are doing a very good job of not letting Barca run away with the title, and if they beat them at home this weekend things get even more interesting.

It's only November and already 5 Premier League managers have been sacked this season. Pulis joins the "party" with De Boer, Shakespeare, Koeman and Bilic.

Guess it is not that surprising. Still felt they would have held on to him for another few beatings. Finally, is it time for Scholes or Giggs to get a job? Before it is all said and done, Giggs and Scholes would have been linked with every single job there is. The links will keep coming, but, for some reason, nobody ever takes them on. They remain part-time pundits. This is what I see in my mind. It is rather comical.

I suppose Sevile and the victims could be interesting today, not too enthralled by much though.

Looks like even 3-0 isn't safe when you have defense like Liverpool. Still they shouldn't have problem sealing qualification to the last 16.

Cristiano with a brace, never in doubt. 18 Champions League goals in 2017, a new record.

City scoring 88th-minute winners now. Go home everybody else, you're drunk.

Makes a world of difference. Was good to see him coming back strong in first game. It must keep up.

Looks like the Sevilla manager told his players at half time that he has cancer. Maybe that's where they found some motivation for the second half comeback. Wishing Eduardo Berizzo a successful recovery.

Yeah, all the best to him. The telling them at halftime story sounds very mythical but whatever. They got the result.

No rift with Jose and Mkhitaryan.Players can be dropped because of poor form ya know.

Instead of watching PSG destroy Celtic I chose to watch us looking inferior to Basel. To be honest I felt sadder for CSKA as our loss made it much tougher for them, Man United will still top the group. Away performances have to improve ASAP.

Well I had the time of my life there in the stands... :p:D
You should come more often to Basel - out of the 6 games we had against Manchester I saw 5 of them live (only missed this years away-leg) with now a positive 2-2-1 w/d/l-ratio :)

You guys are turning into our bogey team and seem to be tough for other English teams as well, I remember you sending us and Liverpool in the Europa League recently, as well as knocking out Tottenham in the Europa League tie one season as well, on penalties if my memory is good. How do you do that? :p

Underestimating Basel, even though Jose and whoever prop their record up before game. They are still underestimated. Should have put the game to bed before half time.''They are there for the taking'' lol But then, Man Utd aren't that good either so it all makes sense. Funny game. Knew I should have took Basel at half time.

They are going to get worse away ASAP. Believe dat.

Nah, I still have the faith. I'm confident that Huddersfield will do a job on City. :p

Boring game against Juventus but a point is ok. First place guaranteed, but knowing some of our luck with draws recently we will probably get Bayern right away.

Huge game during the weekend, travelling to Mestalla to face Valencia, our nearest chasers, 4 point difference.

They are known for playing perhaps too aggressively against us (though they are far from the only ones). And who can forget two of our recent visits there when we won with the last kick of the game which frustrated the Valencia supporters to such an extent that they threw objects at our players.

A similar scenario for the third time in the last 4 years would be beautiful. :p Especially now that this game with Valencia is bigger than any we've had for a very long time.

Someone will soon but I don't think that's going to be Huddersfield. Looks like they peaked against our clowns.

Funny how Everton who have been total crap this season are the only ones to avoid defeat against City so far.
Interesting, you only scored one more goal than Valencia in the league. They are in great form and already played against Real at the Bernabeu where it was 2-2 (shocking ), against Atletico at home 0-0 and have also beaten Sevilla and Bilbao at home, scoring many against both. It's not like they had an easy schedule until now.

For once, slow down a bit in the league for God's sake. Or rest Messi. :p

Speaking of them, poor Everton got destroyed again LOL. 1-5 at home to Atalanta. 1 point in 5 Europa League games. Ouch.

Looking at other results. Partizan are through, congratulations @Noleberic123 :p Hopefully Crvena Zvezda joins them too. ;)

Of course. I keep saying there is quality in La Liga outside of Barca and Real.

If that means you will stop irritating the rest of the world in the Champions League, I will see what I can do. :p

    Yes they won the group.

Assuming all five English clubs hold on to their first places in the group, Bayern will have a 71% chance to draw one of them. If not them, Bayern will get Barcelona or the only easier group winner Besiktas. Pretty much everyone wants to avoid Heynckes' machine despite them finishing second.

Bayern would win their group if they beat PSG by 4 goals in the last group match but that isn't happening.

I do relish a Bareclona hammering for City, or just a hammering in general. The way this is going, i'd probably have them as heavy favourites over both. Of course, it's me and I'm getting ahead of myself. Looking forward to seeing what they are really made of when you go deep. United too hopefully, providing they qualify. :p

I'd love to see Barcelona hammer them. One of the rare chances I get to fully appreciate Messi's magic rather than wanting his club to lose. :p
