The TT Football Club

Poor 1st half but massive improvement in the 2nd. Good subs by Valverde. Though he didn't play well which also resulted in Pique having a lot of work to do, it was good to see Umtiti back after three months.

Of course, today's win wouldn't have been possible without the captain.

Amazing volley, precise right footed finish, his usual cheeky chip and an assist to Suarez got us a big 4-2 away win against Sevilla and much needed improvement in front of goal as the team is set to play two El Clasico matches at Santiago Bernabeu next week. It would be really special to win there again...
Yesterday marked 1000 days of Real Madrid's reign in Europe.

Sick of it yet @Tiki-Taka @Doctor/Lawyer Red Devil @Noleberic123 ? :p

As weird as it sounds, I am handling that far better than @Doctor/Lawyer Red Devil and @Noleberic123 are. :p But good times happen to those who are patient. ;)

Okay performance from us today , We should've won by a much bigger lead today but Mbappé was wasteful despite scoring 2 goals , He wasted big chances to actually tie Messi in the Golden boot race and of course Messi scores 3 to put extend his lead , Mbappé needs to work on his finishing

I don't know how you handle it. Well done. I can't wait for them to lose

I enjoy it very much when you guys smash them, but even if you managed to do that twice next week, it wouldn't compare to seeing them out of the Champions League. I guess all the evil over the last three years has accumulated, I am just waiting for the end... :giggle:

You should have seen it back when they dominated La Liga. At one point they had 19 titles in 30 years, in an era when only the champion gets to play in the European Cup (today's Champions League) next season. That was really frustrating.
I wasn't alive.

Real Madrid is such a boring club. If it weren't for their success no one outside of Madrid would root for them. If I lived in Madrid I would be an Atletico supporter

For the beginning of that period even I wasn't born yet. :p

Most foreign fans of big clubs are attracted by success more than anything else, it's not an exclusive rule for Real. As for the other part, your choice would depend on a lot of things. Location, father's influence, values and so on...

I meant more if I moved to Madrid now.

Jamie Carragher trying his commentator curse. Another version of the jinx universe.

But I can't argue with his point.

Damn it, Mike Smalling. Put your body in for it. You are the Killmonger for goodness sake.

Having Danny Murphy flashbacks now. Panic attacks.

Oh well. Not bad considering we lost three players in the first half. Hopefully Tottenham will be in the mood in their upcoming two London derbies and do us a favor.

One point gap at the top now, any slip up could see Liverpool lose the top spot. Such tight margins, a month and a half ago they were an inch away from taking the lead at Etihad which would have been a 10 point gap.

Basically lost 4 players. Rashford was clearly injured since the start of the game. And might as well make it 5 or playing with 9 men with slug Lukaku lugging around like he's carrying a backpack filled with weights in it.

Highlight of the match :-D:-D:-D

Liverpool's intensity has gone down, and I am not just talking about today's match. Their attacking trio has always struggled to make an impact against Manchester United. They have been unimpressive for a few games now.

1 point between them, anybody's title now. But maybe this is the moment when City's superior depth plays a big role.

LOL

And yeah, I can feel they are slipping a bit. Season is catching up.

Points dropped but I'd say it's not an awful result, they had three players leaving the pitch injured, Rashford was struggling while Matic didn't even feature. Hopefully they won't be out for too long.

I wonder how will Manchester United do when City come to visit them.

Carabao Cup final is being played now...

Gary Neville summed up the dramatic turnaround of Manchester United.

before
0-0 here against Liverpool and they shout attack attack attack.

after
0-0 here against Liverpool and they were shouting Ole's name. The atmosphere at Old Trafford felt electric again.

wow, it's like a hair revitilising cream that works dude. Unbolelivable.

City is a better team IMO. They should take the title

I almost think that Liverpool should just go out of the Champions League and concentrate on the league to have a chance.

We'll see...
I wonder if there is any weak era talk on football forums. I actually am thinking of joining one. But I think two sports forums would be too much for me.
There isn't. Though there is a lot of blaming on the ref and the team's own performance as an excuse for a bad result. And I don't think any of those forums are as crowded as this one.

I'm not sure. Can't really remember weak era talk. I haven't been on football forums since I left pro evo soccer fan. You're always going to find at least one conspiracy theory guy. He lurks and waits to make his move. But he is there. Forum life.

Yeah football fans are different. I actually like football fans more. If there was the equivalent Leicester winning the league in tennis, for example if Darcis won the Australian Open, this place would be full of weak era talk. Football fans don't talk about Messi and Ronaldo being old, they just look at their performances. Though, I will admit tennis doesn't have an Mbappe atm.
