If Frank was Italian he would have a statue outside the most famous cathedrals
Haha possibly! I imagine he’ll be more appreciated by the generation who never got to see him play, the kids in 20+ years time. Maybe it was because he was posh, or played for an unpopular team.. who knows!

I remember when Messi scored that incredible chip a few weeks back and it went viral/was talked about for the next few days. Frank did exactly the same... with his weaker foot! Didn’t get anywhere near the same adoration. He also chipped Valdes.. at the Nou Camp.. from level with the corner flag.. to get them back in the game.. “oh that was just luck, jammy sod! Bit like the other 30 goals he got that season” :p

Real Madrid is the prime example of that. A disgusting club from day one.
Like really , How the hell Madrid suffering from debt gets to spend 54% of their revenue on Zidane transfer back in 2001 , That was just unsustainable , Of course they got injected cash , But people don't care cause they , like some other clubs have the " history" card. Milán got cash injections too back in the 80's , 90's and early 2000's

We have the Europa League semifinals line-up too.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea, Arsenal vs Valencia

Pretty similar to the Champions League when it comes to league distribution. Two English and one Spanish club in Europa as well. Germans instead of the Dutch.

All these four teams are in a tight contest for the fourth place in their leagues. Arsenal are 4th, just above Chelsea in the Premier League, Eintracht are 4th in Germany with a one point lead over 5th, while Valencia are 6th in Spain, three points behind 4th placed Sevilla. Safe to say all of these teams will be looking at this competition as more than just a significant piece of silverware if their domestic form suffers in the few remaining games.

What these semifinalists also have in common is that all of them have played just one Europa League final before. Arsenal are the only of the four that never won it. While Eintracht (1980), Valencia (2004) and Chelsea (2013) took their chance, the Gunners lost their final in 2000 on penalties.

Vamos Valencia. Make La Liga proud, like Sevilla have in recent years.

I lost all interest in a Champions League place when the transfer ban was announced. The benefits of a top 4 finish are more money, being able to recruit better players to give yourself a fighting chance in the big competition etc.. that doesn’t mean anything to Chelsea now.

With Hazard all but certainly leaving, Willian showing his age, Hudson-Odoi unwilling to sign a new contract, Higuain and Kovacic returning to their parent clubs, Giroud wanting to leave etc.. I don’t think the current Chelsea side would do themselves justice in the Champions League as it stands right now, much less next season when they’ll of lost players they aren’t allowed to replace.

Would be nice to win the Europa League though. Silverware is always welcome! Sarri getting his first ever trophy would be good too. The Champions League place? It’s not that important as things stand.

Don't worry , You guys will have PuliGod soon

I can tell you he's good technically but he often runs like a headless chicken hoping to dribble past opponents.
Hudson-Odoi is the same. It would be entertaining if they're our two wingers next season

Suppose it's just an age thing, still learning their craft and all that. Hopefully...

I watch the Bundesliga and Pulisic is brainless.
I'm glad Klopp did not push for him. He's going to bring a lot of newbie American fans and they are going to freak out if Sarri does not start him. Fair to say Chelsea is a poisoned chalice and will be as long as a Putin thug is still the owner.
