I was having a real bad day, sir. Cue the over dramatic theater style posts from me. :p
I noticed!

Reminded me of the girls in the group chat when the fella they're seeing doesn't reply within 30 seconds. "he's cheating on you, girl!", "he's probably married and spending the afternoon with his family" and all other kinds of crazy conclusions drawn :-D

United will be fine, I think.

:D Excuses time. The United stand watch-along played a part. I'm a big fan of the guy that does it but yesterday it was extreme. ''We will be lucky if we finish sixth. '' ''Ole has not been backed'' ''Rinse and repeat what happened to our previous managers'' etc etc etc Then he went on a big rant after the game and another rant this morning. Gotta get it out of ya like. lol

Peak Barca-esque stuff from Liverpool.

Maybe a slight exaggeration. haha

When it is not your day it is not your day. Penalty saved by Alisson.

Suarez to Atletico him and Costa upfront will be a rough time for defenders.

Watch him go on a tear when he comes up against Barca this season, he'll be chomping at the bits.

City looking good with their 3-1 win vs home but Wandering Wolves. The visitors limited Wolverhampton to one shot on target (loan goal at 78 minutes on a header by Jimenez) while KDB scored from the penalty spot and Foden added the second goal of the opening half. A late injury time goal by Jesus restored the two-goal margin. KDB was involved in all three scores and looks primed to be the offensive focus this season.

The time has come to say goodbye to a club legend.

He played 283 games for FC Barcelona in which he scored 198 goals and assisted another 109.

Helped the club win 13 trophies. 4 La Liga titles, 4 Copas del Rey, 1 Champions League, 2 Supercopas, 1 UEFA Supercup and 1 Club World Cup. One treble and two domestic doubles. One of most important players of a squad that dominated Spain and conquered Europe in convincing fashion five years ago.

Became our 3rd best goalscorer in history in less than six years, with only Messi and César ahead of him. Also Barcelona's 3rd best ever when it comes to El Clásico games, scoring probably the decisive goal in the 2015 title race, a couple of braces during two demolitions of the Bernabéu, and a hat trick in another marvelous display at Camp Nou in 2018. The man for the big occasion.

La Liga hasn't had many more productive strikers than him in its entire history, as he approaches the top 20 all time goalscorers, already being the best Uruguayan and seventh best foreigner. With him joining Atlético Madrid, his legacy in our biggest competition will undoubtedly continue to grow.

The 2015 Champions League final in Berlin had a similar trajectory to our 2011 triumph in Wembley. Our opponents' resistance eventually broken in the second half. And what Messi did to Manchester United then, this guy did to Juventus. A decisive second goal that brought a second treble that nobody else achieved yet at that time.

In the modern era that has been dominated by Leo and Cristiano when it comes to all the attacking numbers and contributions, he put a short end to that duopoly, winning the Pichichi as well as the European Golden Shoe for his 40 strikes in 2015-16, after already sharing that individual prize back in 2013-14 when he proved he could it on a cold rainy night in Stoke too.

If you wanted clinical finishing, smart playmaking, brilliant runs, creating space out of nothing, insane technique and moments of genius, this player would be one of the first to fit that profile. Like I said many times before, during his best years he was the undisputed world number one number 9. Watching his highlight reels would never get boring. A beautiful game played beautifully.

Plenty of failed transfers over the last few years for our club, but there is no argument that this was an excellent one. A risk worth taking in the summer of 2014, at the time when his discipline and drama on the pitch were at the lowest point.

Sportsmanship passed away a long time ago with nice guys coming out on top less and less frequently these days, and he was one of the fires we fought other clubs' fires with. Even though I never liked the dark side of him, there is no doubt that it was something that gave opponents an extra problem to deal with. He stood his ground... Other than those occasions when he'd dive. :p

Professional until the very end, despite being mistreated after everything he has done, knowing for weeks that he has no future in Catalunya, he continued to give his maximum in training without saying a word, unlike some others who were throwing hissy fits during their departures like Arthur.

For me, in the part of the pitch where he operates, El Pistolero stands among the best ever performers in the Blaugrana shirt. Cruyff, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Messi, Neymar and him...

Muchisimas gracias, Luis Suárez...

Brighton, who hit the goal frame five times today, looked like they rescued a point with a 95th minute equalizer but United won with a penalty AFTER the final whistle. :-D:-D:-D Stunning.

WBA making Chelsea look like EFL 2 level. Ugly football in ugly kits. 3-nil.

How much was paid for Silva to embarrass himself ???

Bruno Penandes seals it after the match was over. Kind of unfair that the game kept going until minute 97 IMO. The referee should've blown the final whistle after Brighton's equalizer.

I guess Chelsea are competing with United to see whose defence is worst.
They really are. It's crazy how bad defending is these days. Players can't even do the basics anymore, which should be the bare minimum. Taking too much time on the ball, heading back into dangerous areas, lapse of concentration that lets someone in behind, showing attackers onto their stronger foot etc.. These are things they teach you when you're 12.

I feel sorry for the managers, there's no amount of working on shape or tactics that can overcome individuals making errors time and time again.

It seems that the "smaller" sides with journeymen have better defences at the moment. They know their limitations, stick to the basics, have the desire to actually defend and enjoy what they do. I think some of the bigger name players need to take a leaf out of their book.

WBA felt Chelsea was lonely in the NoDefenceAllowed Lodge and came to stay for the second half in a brave and eventually successful effort to give away two points. 3-3 final.

Koeman seems to be involving Messi a little less, which may be good for the team as it will open him up in the future and allow other players to develop more imo. I was a little pessimistic at first because I thought Koeman was pushing Messi out, but I think this could be a good thing now.

Don't know if the Yellow Submarine woke up on the wrong side of the bed but I'll take that. Off to a good start in the new season, 4-0 victory in Koeman's first official game in charge, all goals in the first half. Fati with the first two after two quick plays and assists from Alba and Coutinho, Leo from the penalty spot and Pau Torres deflected a cross into his own net. Decent performance as we could have scored more, while Villarreal hardly did anything of note. Pjanic, Pedri and Trincao all came off the bench to make their debuts for Barcelona, with Dembele also returning after another long injury absence.

Hopefully the boys can produce something similar or better in the next game, as tough trip to Vigo awaits on Thursday. It would mean a lot to win there for a change.

I am not so confident . maybe a fan's anxiety..
Man City is always dangerous..
I am also dreaming of the double. After all dreams are free.

PS: I hope A Zverev never wins RG 2020, coz TTW will be a boring place without you!
I think you guys are far and away the best. City gets injured way too often and are just weaker than they used to be in general.

If I were to bet, I would put my money on us!
Liverpool is very consistent. They lost just one match in 2018-2019 and three matches in 2019-2020.. so I think this will help us enormously..

Even though we have only won three, it includes Chelsea and Arsenal.. two good teams.. all look good as of now.
Hope it continues

I suppose you are with Man United?

United but realistic. I can admit Liverpool is far and away the best. And really the only team I see that can beat Bayern straight up in Europe.

Liverpool win the third game in a row! Looks like the third successive season they are on a roll!
It's between them and Leicester City as of now for the title
FTFY but the Anfield side will pull away again in the end. MCI is fading after retirements and the departure of Sane to his native Bundesliga roots and superteam Bayern Munich.

It’s almost like Larry Bird announcing before the 3-point contest at an All-Star game, “Y’all playing for second place!”

Will be surprised if United don't embarrass themselves in the group they drew in the Champions League.

The Juve v Barca matches will be the good entertainment.
