A bit of bus parking but hasn’t gone full 8-1-1 yet. :p

“Just like Leicester, this city is blue” they sing. ;)

Going for the second goal after taking the lead is allowed, Jose. De Gea won't produce great saves literally every time.

Been watching Zverev vs Tittieboss but hearing that Sanchez is having a mare.

Good to hear.

Never happy to see United score but sort of happy this time. ;)

Stick to him, Luke. :D

Think United will struggle this season but winning on the first game of the season can change a lot.

Nervous as **** for the City game.

Definitely would have chuckled a bit if Schmeichel scored there. :p

Manchester will struggle but they will find a way to win a solid number of games still. The ugly Mourinho special.

It’s efficient but god it’s boring.

Football should be entertaining. That’s why people play and watch football because they want and expect entertainment.

Mou is more successful and more accomplished than Wenger but I’ll take Wenger anyway over him. Even in the years that we didn’t win anything I was still entertained and loved watching Arsenal play even though it was very frustrating at times..

Would have been amusing. Flashbacks to big Pete.

Didn't think United were that ugly tonight. Seen a lot uglier, wasn't bored to death, but yeah, the Mourinho way.

Winning is the #1 goal. Always was, always will be. Style is a bonus, but useless without decent results.
I’m conflicted. I want Arsenal to win but I also want to stay true to the entertaining football we’re known for.

I would accept a season or two of boring football if it meant winning the league. We’ve been starved of that for far too long to even give a ****. :D

What did I expect from a supporter of a club that says it’s “more than a club” :D

Some good periods in the game tonight. Just lacking that killer ball when we dominated in the second half. That's probably why a lot of those ''Sanchez is the worst player on the pitch'' calls came out. Then it ends up being Shaw to score.

I love Barcelona, no?
I have a love/hate relationship with Barcelona.

Love because they play great football and Messi is the messiah.
Hate because they always beat Arsenal and I’m still salty about that red card. :p

Shaw's first career goal, and it was a very good one.

I am kind of dreading some of the Champions League games this season. Almost makes me miss the other competition where we would usually be among the favorites, even now. :D

By the looks of it I will be rooting for City when the title race between them and the other guys starts to form. All because of the unwritten rule that I nearly broke in the Champions League last season. Ugly times.

Or maybe it's because apart from having a certain football ideology for decades and decades, and specific methods all the way down to the youngsters, the club has also been the symbol of our national identity, while the stadium was one of rarest places where you could be yourself even in times when our culture and language were being repressed. I don't know if escaping jail convictions was just meant to be an innocent joke or not, but I was certainly being serious. Didn't want any of it to come across as me saying your clubs are inferior, after all you know I show genuine respect to all of them, but the bond here is not the most typical you will see between a club and its (local) supporters. That is something that for me makes FC Barcelona special, unique, even when the trophy cabinet was far less rich than now, even before Cruyff, Maradona or Messi were known or even born, and that will always be the case...

Wow this hit me. Great post.

I looked it up and it’s a really touching story.

Didn't take long for the will you be the number one for England and United this season. Steady on. Jose not ready to fully kiss the ring, ''he made one mistake, one mistake.'' Less of Ashley Young please.

sky ratings. Not as generous as me.
De Gea (8), Darmian (6), Bailly (6), Lindelof (6), Shaw (8), Fred (7), A Pereira (7), Pogba (8), Mata (6), Rashford (6), Sanchez (6).

Mystic will be annoyed at the defending for Leicester goal. He had it 2-0.

Good thing that the final weekend of waiting for La Liga has some good games. Arsenal and Manchester City tomorrow afternoon while Supercopa is during the evening.

Looks like the club won't mind trying to sign one more player during the final days of the transfer window. It better be a good one if that's the case.
