Hey guys, so a couple of weeks ago, we were thinking that amidst this lockdown, and absence of tennis, we should not miss fun.
So me, @Yugram and @TripleATeam have planned (yeah, crazy as it sounds, 3 polar fans) to organise a watch party for all who want to join and enjoy it.
We hosted a watch party last week on Sunday, 3rd May 2020 from UTC 15:30 onwards, @TheGhostOfAgassi @Yugram @TripleATeam @Atennisone @ForehandRF @HetTheGreaterer @125DownTheMiddle were the participants, we watched Pete Sampras v/s Andre agassi 2001 US open Quarter final full match simultaneously and had a great time chatting together. We encourage every TTW member on this forum, to join the party, we'll have a great time together.
So, following its footsteps, 2nd edition has been planned on 10th May, 2020. (Time & Timezone will be conveyed soon)
You have the options given here in the poll, about the match to be watched in the next watch party. I want to say an interesting thing here, which matches' options are to be given for the next watch party,are decided at the end of the party, by the voting of all participants.
First, I'll explain the structure of this watch party. It's a kind of party in which we all will watch the same match at the same time and chat about it altogether.
0) The watch party's match will either be livestreamed at the decided time through some reliable source or everyone will watch at the same time on YT or any other platform, you'll get the link. You can enter, leave and re-enter at any time as per your convenience.
1)Everyone interested will join the watch party's group on telegram, group's Link is available here.
The Watch Party - TTW
You can view and join right away.
(MODs I request, please don't remove this link and help us out in the tough times for entertainment)
2) please set your username as per the ttw username so that it can be comfortable chatting
3) the timezone will be decided through the analysis of joining members
4) please be polite in the chatting.
5) don't worry about the privacy and your mobile number (lol tsitsipas), telegram has an option to hide it. So chill.
6) at the end of the watch party, a small quiz related to match will be conducted and a Winner will be declared. There will be a surprise gift for the winner as well.
There is the poll in this thread about which match is to be included in the second watch party. Do vote there (please leave aside your fan bias when doing so).
The match of the Watch Party out of the four given options will be decided based upon the majority of voters. Poll will close on 9th may 18:30 GMT.
That's about it. Vote in the poll and join the party...more friends = more fun in party.
