The two streaks where Murray tops Đokovic

Tenez!

Professional
Just made this out of curiosity.

(I'm supposing Joker wins Sunday, but it changes little)
Thus Murray has a longer historical 3rd round streak that Djokovic, and a longer active 4th round/QF streak.

The guy has skill! If only he weren't such a curmudgeon.

Explain what do you mean... Feder 52 2nd what? The amount of times he has been winning 2nd round matches in a row?

Djokovic keeps the most impressive one and leaves the left overs for Federer.... Interesting...

It is a record of streaks. Fed has 6, Djoker has 1. Fed's streaks are very impressive because of the huge difference between him and the next.

If you are talking of majors won, Fed has 17 , Djoker has 12.

Nobody speaks of Nadals lack of streaks they all see him as 14 time slam champ.... In the end streaks are not secondary.

People often refer to 10 consecutive slam years of Rafa.

Streaks are important as well. 10 consecutive finals , 23 SF and 36 QF are insane when you think of it . It is several years of sustained consistency and domination

What? That's the basis of most criticism you hear against Nadal on this forum: that he vultures titles when he's hot and then loses early in the next tournament, thus preserving his unrepresentative h2h figures.

On the contrary, Murray is perceived as far more reliable and consistent that Rafa. But yes, he does tend to drop off in the last rungs of the slam ladders. To each their strength.

I agree with the best streaks of Rafa and Roger are impressive and make your resume look neat but slams are the most important and Novak has the most important 4 in a row streak....

Nadal in his prime won a lot of matches in the semi final and final departments... The same can't be said about Murray....

But he already gets credit for that as a highlight of his career even when we don't talk of streaks.

Djoker's career highlight is 4 in a row and AO leader.

Rafa's career highlight is 10 consecutive slam years , 9 FO, Olympic gold and 2 channel slams.

fed's career highlight is highest number of majors , insane streaks, Olympic gold, most majors in 2 out of 4 slams, being number 1 at 31 when two other rival double digit slam winners were at their peak at age 25.

Woops, it seems that I had spoken a little fast concerning Joker.

Murray equal with Joker in yet another streak!
