I played Babolat when I started, but ever since switching to Yonex I`ve stuck with it. Interesting to see such a low babolat count here considering its popularity among juniors. I guess that changes when your elbows aren`t as fresh haha

Wilson Pro Staffs for years until an arm injury pushed me to towards Yonex DR98s which I find much more comfortable without losing any playability.

Grew up playing Head frames but switched to Babolat in college, and after brief forays away from Babolat I keep coming back. Been playing with the Strike line since the first generation.

I am gravitating towards head and yonex. My best racket is Head G360 Speed MP, Head G360 radical s moded to 300gr, 7HL and Yonex Ezone DR 100 with lower swingweight.

First real frame I purchased after decades of K-Mart specials was a Babolat Aeropro. Moved to the PD+ when i joined a club, wrecked my elbow, moved to Prince and have stuck with them.

Love their feel especially the Phantom 93P.

I went Prince. I have played with various Prince frames 98% of the last 6 years.

However, the new Pure Strike 100 is in my bag and may become the new main stick.

This is going to skew heavily toward Yonex compared to the real world. The nerds are more concerned with QC than the general public
I think its skewing surprisingly heavy on the Prince side of things. Yonex is getting real popular where I live so I'm not surprised its popular. Head is falling back considerably locally. Wilson and Babolat still own the club scene.

What no Angells in the poll? Biggest thread on TTW. And pretty popular on here as well. Have to admit though, rarely see one in the wild (perhaps because it isn't a big mainstream brand and because it isn't US based).

Anyway, I chose 'other' in the poll. For me, even with a few dozen racquets that I own, I would choose my Angells if I had to pick one.

Transitioning to modern game, holding on to frames of past b/c of solid feel but losing ground when competing...well, one has to look at Prince TT100 frames. Overused term but goldilocks frame for 90’s kids that want to remain young.

I really like Wilson and the Pro Staffs always have a special place in my heart, but I play my best tennis with Head racquets.

Babolat never clicked for me. Yonex is alright but their frames don't quite match my game. At least the ones I've tried. I do really like Volkl, I have a bunch. Great frames. Prince is very hit or miss with me. Some awesome stuff, but a lot that I don't like (O Ports, Textreme). Haven't hit with many Dunlop or other frames (I don't think - I'm probably forgetting some).

I'm working on it... but I'm a very sick man.

I have:

18 Head racquets (from 90 to 100 sq. in.) - Love them all (might have to get rid of duplicates just to reduce numbers)
7 Tecnifibre - Love them all
6 Angell - Love them all
5 Volkl - Love them all
5 Wilson - Love them all
5 Yonex - Love them all
3 Fischer - Love them all
2 Dunlop - Love them both (thinking of getting more - but battling myself)
1 Pro Kennex - Love it
1 Prince - Love it

Do you see a pattern... and I play with them all on a rotation basis (just to make myself feel better about having too many :-D:whistle:).

Like I said... I'm working on it... ALL RIGHT!!!:giggle:;)

I'm pretty sure you'll buy a racquet from anyone except Babolat.

I'd agree Prince is probably over-represented. I'm definitely seeing Yonex's growth in the real world as well, but its market share is definitely several pegs below Wilson/Yonex. Agree totally Head is losing its presence.

I agree, HEAD could do better in the US. But the current Speed, Extreme and especially the new Gravity will raise the presence again. In Europe and rest of world HEAD is much stronger.

What do you have against Babolat? I`m amazed that not a single Bab racquet has made it into your collection of 53!

I voted Wilson, as I've been playing with the Pro Staffs for 15 years. But I'm hoping to switch to Babolat when the new Pure Strike comes out. It all depends on whether or not it still hurts the shoulder with prolonged use.

I use Prince myself but definitely do not see many others who play with them outside what is represented on this forum.

The coach I take lessons from also coaches one of the local high schools, and I recently asked him if he had any impressions on Head racquets based on what he may have seen from the high schoolers on his team. He said literally no one on the team uses Head, both on the boys and girls side, and almost everybody uses a Babolat, with some Wilsons (Blade specifically), and a couple Yonexes on the girls side because of Naomi Osaka.

i think my club must be secretly sponsored by head as everyone has head rackets! in fact when i played on the men's first team this season it was 5 head rackets to my 1 yonex!
