If it's a Nadal and Tsonga final, it definitely would be the hottest and most attractive one. The equivalent of a Bouchard vs Sharapova final (strictly talking about looks)...

A Tsonga slam would be hilarious and awesome. It's now or never because a slam will never be this open for the rest of his career.

To be honest, I think it will be easier from here for some time. Fedal can only age and regress. Murray may even retire this year. Djokovic doesn't look good and he's getting old as well. Only hurdle may be Zverev who is improving rapidly. Until other super players come along, I think the slam draws will be more and more open from now on.

Problem is, Jo is no spring chicken either (31-32) and has a kid now. Was recently talking about retirement as well.

Slam draws will be more open but I'd sooner expect someone like Dimitrov or even Berdman (I know, people are laughing) to take advantage of it than Jo.

Here's hoping he proves me wrong and shows he has another great run in him. Shame a guy with his game and charisma never won a slam despite so many deep slam runs.

My thoughts, exactly. Tsonga, Berdych and a few old guys who's been top 10 forever are running out of time as they age more, but as long as they maintain good conditioning, they will have better chances for the next 1-2 years before the young guys develop into more complete players. Still, without Djokovic and Murray, with ageing Fedal who will have more injury problems, the perennial top 10 players of good old times should fancy their chances more right at the end of their career. They should really be gunning for Ivanisevic type last hurrah. This situation also opens up door to win for guys in their mid to late 20s like Raonic, Nishikori and Cilic. It's all up for grabs and they should make the most of it.

Tsonga's best tennis is behind him, probably around 2011/2012, much as I would like to see a French player lift a GS it ain't going to happen any time soon.

I feckin love Jo Willy and it is my hearts desire to see him win a tslam. I'm boarding this train.

It's entirely possible that Fedal may dominate again next year. If Murray and Djoker don't really come back, Fedal may still be the best. The youngsters are coming, but they may not be quite ready yet.

I am curious to see if Fed will play until he's 38 and see if he can make a deep run like Connors did at 38 in the US Open. Nadal? Really depends on if he can stay healthy. He usually gets some kind of injury every other year.
