I’ve said it before on here, but the towels need to be at the back of the court, not half a mile away at the side. He's saying he's starting the shot clock too quickly.

It really feels like players are whining to the umpire in every single match now.
De Miñaur started in similar fashion vs Meddy.
I am telling myself this so as not to get my hopes up here.
Impressive response Meddy. Takes first set. He does own rublev mentally and he won the BH to BH exchanges again. Unless something changes, rublev must have that same old Fed up feeling again.
I find his personality hilarious ngl. I enjoy his no ****s given attitude but yeah he's far from aesthetically pleasing tennis wise. Still enjoy watching him over FH bots like Rublev. Say what you want about Med but he actually has much more variety than Rublev and is capable of producing some very good matches worthy of remembrance. Can't say there's a single Rublev match worth remembering.I just really dislike watching the guy play tennis, he sucks the life and joy out of the game and acts like a top 1% ******** between points. There’s no redeeming qualities I can see in his existence in the professional game, aside from humor and schadenfreude when he invariably gets squashed like a beetle by the first gifted attacking player he faces.
But even my excitement for the demolition jobs is running thin. He sucks.
Tennis in a nutshellEntertaining and annoying.
he’s an interesting character is Rublev. Very clearly shows signs of some pretty hefty childhood trauma and anger on court, including borderline self harm, but seems to be a genuinely lovely guy with a great sense of humor and taste for life off of it. Hope he finds happiness one day. I was overjoyed to see him smile after he won Monte Carlo this year.I like Rublev. Maybe watch his documentary and you’ll like him more. Think he’s very intense because of his parenting.
English subtitles are available

Which one of your compatriots are you rooting for?At least this is being a much better set than novok-futz last night.

He’s excellent. In this swing and us open he loves the courts and his game suits it. As we seen he’s been a nightmare for all players including Djokovic on it. His big problem is Carlos if he plays him here. He needs a different game plan for that one.Keeping propaganda aside Meddy is a great NA HC swing player
Of course, most people do because he couches his true nature (being a condescending, arrogant, never-wrong bully) with humor. It’s never ever ever Daniil’s fault about anything, no, it’s the umpire, or a cameraman, his coach, the surface, the weather or a fan, or maybe he’s just pissed and wants to vent so he picks on a ball kid.I find his personality hilarious ngl. Good point. Well on grass he wasn’t expected to do as much. He lost at Indian wells too but again the surface didn’t suit Meddy as much. This is probably the best hard court he can challenge alcaraz on.They haven't played enough to know if Carlos is his problem, moreover Meddy was not at his best when they played. Let's see

He actively bullies umpires and is constantly complaining and acting sour and angry between points. He picks fights with people and gets away with soooo much **** on court that other players wouldn’t it does my head in.
Every time I’ve watched him in person I’ve come away with the lowest opinion possible of his demeanor and character. Like -5/10.
He’s Nick Kyrgios with slightly more intelligence.
I feel bad for Rublev because he seems like a guy who even if he won a major and became #1, still wouldn't be happy. I think he's destined to be miserable as long as he's a professional tennis player. Whatever he accomplishes won't be good enough for whatever he's still trying to prove to his parents or whoever back home.he’s an interesting character is Rublev. Rublev isn’t getting bounced in the 2nd round at least. lolYou watch Rublev play and you realize despite the salt, how spot on Tsitsipas was in his evaluation of Bweh!
Not the point.Rublev isn’t getting bounced in the 2nd round at least. lol
Neither, just play the good tennis please.Which one of your compatriots are you rooting for?

Zverev is a worse person but it would be hilarious to see his ego balloon if he won a Slam so him.Not happening but : Z vs Mad Lad final, who are you rooting for?
Can't wait for yet another humbling at the hands of CarlosSure, I can understand the appeal and also why people like him. He does seem to understand the absurdity of actually being a professional tennis player better than most, the illogical situations and conventions this game has. I definitely think he’s a smart guy and respect that at least.
He just reminds me of a surly bully who thinks he’s always right about everything. Barkley is 10 times more humble than Medvedev is.
I was pretty miserable when I played football as a kid. Wasn’t really a fun game for me as much as it was a way for me to prove my worth in some way. Lends itself to toxic behavior.Thankfully off court he seems pretty chill. Murray also looks miserable on court.
I guess it's not wrong to say that he does well with the few tools he has. There's really no excuse for a player of Rublev's ranking to be so hideously bad at net.
Which is why it's been so interesting to learn how Andy couldn't live without the sport. He's put his body through hell simply for the love of the game since his hip issues started.Thankfully off court he seems pretty chill. Murray also looks miserable on court.
I’d weirdly rather see Carlos in the USO final than Med. There’s real trauma there. Can't wait for yet another humbling at the hands of Carlos
U crazy I would be over the moon to see Med in the finalI’d weirdly rather see Carlos in the USO final than Med. There’s real trauma there.
Yeah this has a similar feel about it now. Meddy is grinding him down.Oh dear....
A healthy and fit Djokovic has only ever lost to Carlos in a slam Final (active players). Medvedev has no shot against Djokovic here in my opinion.I’d weirdly rather see Carlos in the USO final than Med. There’s real trauma there.
Med poses ZERO threat to Novak.I’d weirdly rather see Carlos in the USO final than Med. There’s real trauma there.
