I think Alcaraz is the greater threat at the moment as Djokovic has been handling Medvedev well his last couple of matches against him. Still, it's not lost on me that Med matches well up against Novak

Meddy just knows rublev game inside out. He exploits his weaknesses annd owns the matchup mentally. Very tough for rublev to overcome. Bar the FH, mad lad just does everything a bit better

Rublev playing Medvedev is basically how everyone else feels playing Djokovic or Nadal.

Being up a break is essentially being on serve. You're guaranteed to get broken back at some point, and then you're still the underdog once things are even again.

Exactly right! Meddy made Djoko uncomfortable in the matchup and drew errors. Meddy court coverage and defence is awesome. His BH, serve and return is very strong too. The FH is decent but a bit weaker. Still he’s an incredible HC player.

Apart from everything else, the conditions are going to make it hard for big comebacks. Once you start to lose in these conditions, it's easy to see why you might continue on that path.
