This is brutal for Rublev. Up 3-0 in the first set and 3-1 in the second, is down 4-6 3-6.
Need to get used to the coming heat waves - train on planet Venus instead of South of France. They should just close the roof and put on the AC, they do that in Australia when the heat index is too high. It's 92 degrees and 68% humidity, just close the roof.
That’s true. Well if we go further back we can include them as well. From the whole careers we can include them players definitely too. Still Meddy is in an exclusive group who can hurt him consistently.
LIES!I don't think I was ever a handwringer to be honest
Actually, Med won their last match in straight sets. It was BO3 though.I'm not denying anything, just noting the logic that is clearly going through your head re: Medvedev.
I think Alcaraz is the greater threat at the moment as Djokovic has been handling Medvedev well his last couple of matches against him. Still, it's not lost on me that Med matches well up against Novak
Rublev volleys worse than Davydenko, OMG.
Yeah that is true.in Bo3, when Djokovic isn't focussed enough/not in form enough, sure.
in Bo3, when Djokovic isn't focussed enough/not in real good form, sure.
Rublev playing Medvedev is basically how everyone else feels playing Djokovic or Nadal. This is brutal for Rublev. Up 3-0 in the first set and 3-1 in the second, is down 4-6 3-6.
its so hot that if you would **** on their heads from the top of the stadium the urine would vaporise and the gas would land in your faceThey should just close the roof and put on the AC, they do that in Australia when the heat index is too high. Can't wait to find out...I tell you, it will be a job to hit through Zverev in these conditions. At night it will probably be even worse. That dropper better be working nicely.
True. Zverev will like these conditions. He also has pretty good fitness. He might not be easy for alcaraz as a lot of us (including me) are expecting.I tell you, it will be a job to hit through Zverev in these conditions. At night it will probably be even worse. The Sopranos Pudgy Walsh career has more depth to it and he was only mentioned in passing that one time. Maybe Rublev needs to get him on the horn.Pathetic from Rublev really.
The 2018 Wimby SF was a totally different animal, let's be fair here lolLIES!
Wimbledon '18 semi-final, go find the match thread!![]()
The first couple sets. But after his battle with Sinner, I don't know how much he'll still have in the tank as the match wears on.I tell you, it will be a job to hit through Zverev in these conditions. At night it will probably be even worse. That dropper better be working nicely.
He didn’t show up for practice today, too tired.True. Zverev will like these conditions. He also has pretty good fitness. He might not be easy for alcaraz as a lot of us (including me) are expecting.
Djokovic never lost a match when he's in good form.

We will see how he feels tonight. He might just be resting. I seen a few players not practice between matches. Djokovic did that at Australia a lot this year. Hopefully he can compete physically well.He didn’t show up for practice today, too tired.
Yeah, indeed, and the Grigor match was a bit of a battle before that too.The first couple sets. But after his battle with Sinner, I don't know how much he'll still have in the tank as the match wears on.

Exactly right! Meddy made Djoko uncomfortable in the matchup and drew errors. Meddy court coverage and defence is awesome. His BH, serve and return is very strong too. The FH is decent but a bit weaker. Still he’s an incredible HC player.Yes. As if Medvedev himself weren't the reason in those multiple losses for Novak's so called bad form...
Funnily enough, it would only spell certain doom for Rublev given the first two sets.Insightful comment: "A break would change things"

So far only one quarterfinal, men’s or women’s, has not been a straight-setter. And most of those quite lopsided. And even the one four-set match had two 6-2s thrown in there lol.
