I don't have time to look into the thread so I will give a brief outline of what happened.
He won the league in the end but I cannot remember what his punishment was. I propose that the Del Potro pick is void as there is clear evidence of cheating.
TM did this last time I remember. TM did email Seffina his picks but it got messy so I do not know what he wants to do this time...
definition of cheating:
–verb (used with object)
1. to defraud; swindle: He cheated her out of her inheritance.
2. to deceive; influence by fraud: He cheated us into believing him a hero.
3. to elude; deprive of something expected: He cheated the law by suicide.
–verb (used without object)
4. to practice fraud or deceit: She cheats without regrets.
5. to violate rules or regulations: He cheats at cards.
6. to take an examination or test in a dishonest way, as by improper access to answers.
7. Informal. to be sexually unfaithful (often fol. by on): Her husband knew she had been cheating all along. He cheated on his wife.
–noun
8. a person who acts dishonestly, deceives, or defrauds: He is a cheat and a liar.
9. a fraud; swindle; deception: The game was a cheat.
10. Law. the fraudulent obtaining of another's property by a pretense or trick.
11. an impostor: The man who passed as an earl was a cheat.
did i do any of the above?? nope. on the other hand, posters will just ignore the fact that cocacola has looked at my picks and changed his accordingly. in the second r16 day, we both had tsonga in 4, he had nadal in 5 and i had nadal in 4. he changed his pick to gonzalez in 4 and said "i need to catch him up".
Changing prediction Tsonga in 4 to Gonzalez in 4...just because the underdoger predicted everything same as me...and I desperately need to catch him up.
even today, when he changed to potro in 4, i made my pick accordingly. he saw this and accordingly changed to potro in 3. did i change? nope.
so have we both been guilty of looking at the other's picks and picking accordingly? yes. does this fit any definition of "cheating"? nope. is this violating the rules? nope. is this less than being an angel? yes, both cocacola and i have done the same.
so i guess we are both "cheaters". why shouldn't we both be punished for this so called "cheating" and being equally "desperate to win": looking at another's picks and choosing/changing accordingly? because i'm in front? this is LAUGHABLE. if you don't like it, go change the rules.
what's the point in taking a poll? obviously people will side with the one who appears "less guilty" in this supposedly context of "cheating".
look who is flaming: cocacola and oddjack. they can only resort to name calling to prove a point. "idiot", "cheater", "pathetic", "bad gamesmanship", "should be banned".
i obviously have committed high treason in their eyes.
