Damon or Stefan?

nacho, probably, voted for stefan, me voted for damon, and someone else voted for stef, thats why it shows the way it is (not full story), more like

What’s the point of arguing anyway. You won’t be able to change my mind and I, yours. It’s just a waste of time. Also, I think I upset Bart with the ‘real men don’t watch TVD’ blah blah stuff.

Yeah, we won't change our views.

Nobody is convincing me that Stefan was better in the show when I clearly know lot of women loved damon and not just women, the audience in entirety accepted Damon more, plus acting skills too were better for Damon while Stefan acted in a bland way.

@Barton is not that upset with your comment as he must be from the downfall of Stelena and the rise of Stelena.

frankly, we werent close interlocutors, like say nacho or beerus (thru my observation though), even though we are almost the compatriots (russia, ukraine and belarus are kinda close sisters who have same root, so shes from one of those two), also sometimes i liked to talk with her in our native/first language, ngl....so, again, not as close as you, hari

Damon’s character was definitely more complex and he did do an excellent job with the role, no doubt.

Barton is a strange case, really. He wants to be Casanova like Damon and surrounded by girls but then he goes and likes Stefan.

That then makes me wonder, if Damon was actually called ‘Stefan’, would he have then liked him better? I can’t help but think that the name has a serious effect on our real life Stefan.

Barton, Fedfather and many others are those who got fooled into Stefan-Elena relationship and thought it is how the ideal man-woman relationship is, well far from it. Damon from the first episode itself told us viewers that he and elena would end up together, but the idea of Stelena was marketed to audience just to pull the rug from under their feet. No wonder they felt upset and stopped watching the show, etc

Stefan and Elena to me always resembled a very dull relationship, I mean it is like those married couples who've been together for some years and now lack any spice their relationship. Stefan-Elena never resembled a teenage romance, he is supposed to be like 17 in the show when he was turned a vamp and even Elena was like 17 or 18, yet we had Stefan try to look so boring in the school, always holding himself back, trying to get into the football team and what not, in stark contrast Damon's life was fun, thats how it is always meant to be and girls like such men....

Name does have an effect, but I also like Stefan's character. And Damon was no Casanova.
 
Stefan was a loser, Elena while dumping him said that Stefan had become a crybaby. Truth is Stefan and Elena had no love, whatever attraction they had was became of a spell casted by Marcos 1500 years ago to draw the doppelgangers together. So Stefan really had no chemistry with Elena and he was low on libido too, Elena kinda disliked this and dumped him in the end.
 
Anyway, regardless of either of Stefan or Damon being winners/losers

I feel I should re-watch the Vampire Diaries once again from the 1st episode onwards to get the feel of those days back, the series can be refreshing to revisit. Season 1 feels good to watch, the actors all look so young and they instant take us back to the old days.

Even Damon respected Elena's choice, thats why he gave her back her necklace so that he wanted his relationship with her to be organic and not forced like it was with Caroline. By the way, Caroline herself had a thing for being slightly slutty in S1 and that Vickie, she was a complete slu-t. Damon treated these women badly, yes but they were not that classy to begin with and they were looking for trouble by hanging out with the wrong crowd. He always treated Elena well, so he did respect her choices most of the times, at times he did not and that was for her own good. Stefan saved Matt and let Elena become a Vampire, how great was that ?

Lets not pretend Stefan was that great, yes he was a gentleman and good in S1, we get it but he too did questionable things.

I could never stand Vickie no matter what. The most annoying perhaps followed by Rebecca.

Told ya, Bart and Stefan Salvatore are no different, in 2025 they are still sulking over Elena turning vampire ... this was Stefan's fault you know, he should not have saved Matt over Elena, what type of a lover was he of Elena ????

I like Rebekkah. She is a bit arrogant and having insecurities but good for casual dating for a while, later can break up. Vickie is terrible, cannot stand her at all. She was only fit for a 1 night stand or smoking weed and having a wild night, nothing more.

Caroline was also like Rebekkah but she became better as time progressed. I like both Caroline and Rebekkah, maybe Caroline is better, we can agree there. Stefan's love Valerie was also good, I liked her too, she and Stefan were a good pair.

Damon killed Elena's biological parents once. I also have a theory that Damon killed Elena's adoptive parents too.
 
Stefan killed towns of people as a ripper, he killed those 2 girls living in Tennessee... what a bad man he was....
