The Watchables

Thought the other thread was good, so how about naming a list of players who you really look forward to watching?

I'll kick off

1) Richard Gasquet - I don't care what people say about the guy, I love his game. Even when he mentally implodes he's still a brilliant player to watch, awesome backhand and brilliant when in flow. Can honestly say the only player I can sit still and watch for like 2-3 hours.

2) Roger Federer/Rafael Nadal - When they play each other more than anything, two brilliant players with amazing ground strokes. Must be said, I do get ticked off with Nadal for his time between points and use of towel every fault serve.

3) Kim Clijsters - Breath of fresh air, no grunt, quick between points, brilliant all round player, great mental strength and dignity on court, as well as modest and respectful to her opponents. I just love the girl, I can't deny it.

4) Philipp Kohlschreiber - Huge talent, and I do love the single handed back hand guys. Camp serve can be excused for his ability to do anything on his tennis court. Watch this video for all you doubters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FngWseAP4Wg

Over to you...

Let's see. Who do I get really upset about if they don't show the match on TV?

1. Tsonga. Still waiting for that AO brilliance to happen again. 'Cause that was special.

2. Gulbis. You never know, he might win. Anything's possible, right?

3. Baghdatis. Sorry, he's my old flame. What happened to him is a real pity.

4. Verdasco. I don't understand this one myself. I guess I just respect that he has worked hard to get better and I am hoping that if I stick with him it will.

5. Stosur. Still trying to figure out what the fuss is all about.

6. Donald Young. I went to Legg Mason *specifically* to see if he had a pulse. I was expecting to see a crash cart by the end.

7. Federer, on tape only. If I know he lost, I will watch to see what on earth happened. Otherwise, beatdowns don't interest me, so I skip most of his matches.
