The Wonder Years

Anyone remember this show? Did it mean anything to you? Any special time your reminisce about - like that summer between 7th and 8th grade?

It's definitely a little bit corny, but for some reason it had that air of innocence that we can't even find in today's cartoons.

I remember it, I saw it when I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade, it was over my head at the time. Come to think of it I haven't seen it since.

Tarheels, I remember the show and the name Winnie Cooper jumps out at me. I remember her very long hair, but I think I only watched the first season. I would probably appreciate the show more now than I did back then.

Oh how I loved Winnie Cooper. That was a great show. Danika McKellar was in either Stuff or Maxim magazine last year and it was a great photo shoot.

'The Wonder Years' was a very good show. One of the few.
Sadly, I think we've seen the end of very good shows forever.

This is funny, I was looking up old tv shows and ran across this at TVland: http://www.tvland.com/shows/bars_tones/
Indeed, that is quite creative and funny.
Going deeper into the menu, this appears...

And this one actually had me laughing out loud...

She's smart too. From: http://www.paramountcomedy.com/comedy/watn/article.aspx?id=39

"In fact, when The Wonder Years ended in 1993, McKellar temporarily turned her back on acting to attend UCLA to study maths, or as they call it in the States, Math. She graduated Summa Cum Laude (which I assume is good) with a BA in Mathematics in June 1998 and the following year co-authored a paper in the Journal of Physics: Mathematics & General that helped solve a problem in the area of statistical mechanics, now known as the Chayes-McKellar-Winn theorum."

I was obsessed with the Wonder Years. What stands out most was some episode where I think Kevin got something engraved and it said "Kevin Amold", and his brother was making fun of him. Oh yes the brother, can't forget him "Butthead!"

I think you are referring to the episode when he engraved the principals desk.

What I remember most about the Wonder Years was the great background music ! Cocker, Hendrix etc. This show always seemed to make the girl next door seem hot ! :)
