dyson,
Glad you've got the frame now. Welcome to the club! Do let us know how you find it after the 1st session... and btw, what's it strung with ans at what tension?
R.
just got my rebel in the mail... i didn't notice this before but with the port hole grommets, the sides are NOT symmetrical. anyone else notice this?
It's official I am now an X-Man. I ditched my Wilson K90 for it. I absolutely love my Rebel 95 now! Here is the link to my setup:

x-men, I have fallen for the youtek prestige mid. I've played with every prestige since the iprestige and always switch then come back to the prestige. Maybe I should just break the cycle and stick with the prestige line for good!
So Ross....you are just going to overlook my joining this clan? lol.
I've had my Rebel about 2 weeks now and am loving the crap out of it. It still has some junk strings in it but I can't wait to throw a full bed of BC on there and really let things rip.
I've played with prestiges for a while too - but I find Rebel superior because it is more forgiving with bigger sweetspot, slightly bigger head, better stability, feedback, grip shape.
Why do you like yPrestige more?
I have gone from a racquet junkie swapping every few weeks to not even thinking of other racquets, I don't even read the reviews anymore. I am Healed PRAISE THE LORD
Still the best racquet I have ever used, and I am well beyond the honeymoon stage now at 6 months of solid play. I never have off days with it anymore (like I did at first) and it just feels right in every way.

off day and wrapped a few balls around the frame and was not centering my shots very well, next day my elbow blew up in pain.
I had a similar issue back in October. Mine wasn't as bad as yours and I was able to play with it but icing my wrist really helped. I did it playing around with swinging volleys and had a bunch of mishits and OUCH. Hope it gets better for you soon.
A couple of months back I ordered a brandnew exo3 Graphite 100 from a pawn shop in New Jersey over the internet! Even though I saw pictures of the unstrung racquet, I was quite surprised when it got here. Instead of your standard Graphite 100, this was a modified Graphite 100 with a string pattern of 18x20. It also has Davydenko's name on it.
Hi everyone,
A couple of months back I ordered a brandnew exo3 Graphite 100 from a pawn shop in New Jersey over the internet! Even though I saw pictures of the unstrung racquet, I was quite surprised when it got here. Instead of your standard Graphite 100, this was a modified Graphite 100 with a string pattern of 18x20. It really was brandnew, never been played with, never been strung.
I put on the new Prince exo3 Glory 17 strings and was blown away by the amount of spin I could generate. Loved it from the baseline and the net, service speed was ok but not great. After about five hours of play I started to have shoulder problems when serving. I finally figured out that these new Glory strings really do not last very long and cut them out. I then had it strung with Big Banger Alu Rough. Wow! The same awesome amount of spin but even more power in every aspect of my game. There are only two things that keep me from continuing to play with this great stick:
1. Since this racquet is some sort of prototype, I won't be able to find another one just like it;
2. It lacks a little bit of stability on my backhand side (single handed backhand).
That's why I switched to the (standard) Rebel 95. The added weight feels great, especially on my backhand, much more stability. I must say I'm really impressed with this stick. I have yet to play it with the string hole grommets, but I will do so when I put new strings on.
Before trying these exo3 racquets, I played the Babolat PDR+. Completely different racquets, but I have never served with anything like the Babolat PDR+. But except for the pure service speed I can generate with the PDR+, I prefer the Rebel 95 in all other aspects of my game.
Thanks for this great thread btw.
My style is a 2 handed backhand (similar to Nadal's, I use a lot of topspin and my racquet head starts pointing down), a western grip forehand, but I like to keep my topspin flatter and not just hit moonballs. I also have a little trouble at the Net with the Rad and Id like to improve my net game too so I can finish points.
I will hopefully have a demo on Monday, but does anyone else play with my style and use this stick?
vasquez,
I gave up on the job of running this club a while back as I slightly fell out of love with the Reb and was demoing/looking at other frames (although lately I've really started appreciating the Reb all over again... doh!) In the next few weeks then, I'm testing the remaining 4 frames to still have a chance of being my no 1 for 2010; but I consider the Reb the main one to beat. If that transpires, I suppose I'll return to updating the membership, posting up the X-Men pics, etc (if wanted).
ci2ca,
I NEVER play with any frame WITHOUT a dampener of some type!... just feels, er, plain wrong!!
Power Player,
Do post up your impressions of the Reb as you play with it more. As you're aware, I'm testing the YT Rad Pro very soon, so I'm especially interested in your observations... and btw, I love the head size of the Reb - it's perfect in my book!... and btw2, you mentioned you use a 2hbh - imo the Reb (and I've said this for ages) is OUTSTANDING off that wing and for that shot particularly... you can really get some very nice, in your face, oomph and trajectory with the reb on a 2hbh... imo.

I use to be the same way but the transition to poly strings and me getting better and being able to hit the ball with more authority the racket usually doesn't ping it's just a loud thwack or a thud but with the rebel it's just weird. There's the initial thwack that I like then it ends with twinggggggggggggg for about 2 seconds..I think it might be my grommets because they are cracked but I honestly doubt it.
check the tie offs - could be a long ending vibrating against the frame
I asked this in another thread, but since many of you here are Rebel users, maybe you can help?
How can I get the Rebel 95 with the O-ports instead of the hole inserts?
Is it easily switched out during a restringing? Do I need to order them special? Anyone have a Rebel with O-ports?
And Anton you don't notice much difference? I wonder if it is because you string at a high tension or if it is because there isn't actually much of a difference. You seem to play with the Rebl as much as anyone here.
I know other posters do..it's interesting. I will start with the default ports and put in full poly at 50#s.
Just order "Port" grommets - and yes it's a simple swap when you re-string.

Want them in Black? Use the grommets from Team version:
