Thread for users of the new Yonex DR100......

I have recently picked this up and also played with the Ai100. The new DR feels a little crisper
and not as muted, which is a good thing IMO. Currently have mine strung with full multi (Prince Premium Power 17g), but will probably switch to a poly/multi hybrid next.

Would like to hear from others regarding string setups and mods, etc.

I may add some weight to mine since it sometimes feels too light and whippy to me. And sometimes on off center hits, it doesn't feel very solid. Otherwise this is a great followup to the Ai100.

I really liked the DR100. I still like the Ai100 a little more from a full poly standpoint. I can see a multi or syn gut hybrid taming the sharpness a little bit, but those strings aren't for me.

Anyone uses Ai Lite (Ai100 Lite) ?

I'm using them with lead and Silicone to 330gr strung, feeling soft and powerful (multi string). Looking to change to Dr98 series as they having some great discounts ^^, which one offer similar in feel would you recommend ? I dont care about power or control

Currently use DR 100. Was strung with Biphase 18 at 54#. Loved it!!! Big pop, good spin, decent control. Mine was weighted up and, despite lingering tendonitis, relatively comfortable. Being restrung with NRG2 17 @ 50# and HDX Tour 17 @ 50#.

using dr100 light version anddddd its ****in crazy. tryed the babolat stuff but it is just too powerful - i dont know why so manny people grab these babolats...dr line is crazy and better in every way.

My ezone 100 285g is decent...I prefer it over the 300g version...Which feels and plays clunky to me....

brother - never tried a dr 100 300g version but. i must say dr 100 185g version is a absolute monster! no clunky feel at all :) tried the dr 98 light also and its a weapon but currently i am staying with the 100. but the most i am suprised that is really easy on the serves :O

I know the 100 285 is really a nice racket..I just added 2 grams of electrical tape across the bumper and it came alive.. its light and whippy and super easy to play with..it doesn't seem as wild as the 300g version.. which isn't a bad offer either..to me it just seems a little cumbersome as others mention as well..
