There's a proliferation of new M1000, WTA 1000 champions

Since 2018, there have been 13 new ATP Masters 1000 champions (Del Potro, Isner, Khachanov, Thiem, Fognini, Medvedev, Hurkacz, Tsitsipas, Norrie, Fritz, Alcaraz, Carreño, Coric) and 12 new WTA 1000 champions (Osaka, Stephens, Bertens, Sabalenka, Andreescu, Barty, Keys, Swiatek, Giorgi, Badosa, Jabeur, Pegula). The players in Bold are the ones that won more than one M1000 or WTA 1000 title.

More than half of these players won their first M1000/WTA 1000 title as one of their first five overall titles.
