Things I don't do often enough

I'm sure i'll think of more...

1. Haircut- I should get one every 2 weeks- ends up being like every 2 months
2. Replace grip- Here is the "tip"- I should replace after every couple of days of hitting- ends up being weeks. I def should have a new grip before any match- but often I just don't do it. A new over grip encourages a loose grip and hence relaxed arms. Such a little thing...
3. Shoe shine- not sure how often I should get them, but I don't get 'em enough.

I actually try to do this all the time and it helps...

Also I have been trying (with the money saved by getting orange as opposed to white CB 4.3 shoes from TW) more tackier overgrips than my usual Yonex Supergrab and discovered that Pacific Xtrac Pro and Gamma stay tackier longer.

HTH!

Haircut, once a year, whether I need it or not.
Replace grip, about once every two weeks.
Shoeshine, since I don't own any dress shoes, and out of the Army since '80, not since 1980.
Floss. My g/f has enough trouble getting me to brush my teeth once a day.

It makes a big difference right?! Every time I put on a new grip my immediate thought is- Dang this feels good, I should have done this sooner!!!!! Same kind of feeling with the haircut. On wall street everyone is meticulous about their shoes and hair.

What level of player are you? btw

Find a friend and stay close, and with a melting heart tell them whatever you're most ashamed of.

I'm most ashamed of purchasing "Drinking Out of Cups" on iTunes.

My boy Viddy said it was higher quality than what was offered on youtube.

Being a cheapskate when my overgrip (blue Tourna) gets socially unacceptable, I peel it off and turn it over and re-use. Lasts a week of hitting.

There: a confession. I am really, really ashamed of this.

One thing (tennis related) I should do more often. Replace my shoes. I wear them until they literally fall apart. Another example of my cheapskatery.

Tourna Mega Tac is probably the tackiest grip out there, and it maintains its tackiness for quite a while!
