Currently use X1 mains @51 and ALU rough crosses @48 in my pro staff 95. Gonna go for something soft like black widow cause I do have a history of atm issues. What tension would roughly translate well?

That came from my RF97. Not the stringbed necessarily. I’ve tried many demos that were strung quite loose and didn’t have any problems. And also no harm in trying. I’m curious and just wanna see if it may work for me. I’m going for a softer poly too with the black widow.
You are basically at 50# with that setup. I have not played with Black Widow. I would choose the tension based on the specific string rather than what you were using with the hybrid. If you are doing full poly with Black Widow, based on the specs I would start at 45#.

i haven not used black widow, but i was going to say, i'm not sure where OP got the impression that black widow is soft
edit: i see TW's description mentions above average comfort

Soft Copolys I like and play with: Volkl Cyclone Tour 16, Diadem Flash 16L, Tier One Ghost Wire 16. For sharp square poly, Volkl V-Square 16 hybrid with either Flash or Ghostwire crosses. I string them all at 50#.

Just a thought but you could try VCT mains in place of the X1 at the same tension to start. Keep the ALU rough crosses at the same tension you play now to minimize your variables.
