This final is shockingly bad to watch. Tennis will die when Federer retires. Everyone will just watch his highlights on YouTube.

It will take a nose dive after Fed retires. LOL. ATP will be lucky to get anything going. The quality of the current Next Gen is equally bad as the Lost Gen.
ATP is way ahead of you guys, since it most probably had helped Federer and Nadal artificially stay at top! It's not that the next Gen is bad, ATP didn't want them to get ahead of Roger
What's better for tennis sales Federer or Djokovic?

Ask yourself.

All ATP had to do was catch Djokovic dopped and ask him to wait his turn of lifting all the trophies, once Federer retires...
What was Djokovic supposed to do? Point out that Nadal is probably on drugs as well, without having any proof?

Your post reminded me again that Lance bought medical services from a doctor who worked for a Swiss company.

Your post reminded me that Rafa won a defamation case against former French minister Roselyne Bachelot, who alleged in March 2016 that when Rafa was sidelined by a knee injury for seven months in 2012-2013, it was actually because he had tested positive for a banned substance.

Mrs. Roselyne said: “We know that Nadal’s famous seven-month injury [2012/2013] was without a doubt due to a positive [drug test]. When you see a tennis player who stops playing for long months, it is because he has tested positive and because they are covering it up.”

Mrs. Roselyne "sources" were D.Koellerer (who was given a lifetime ban in 2011 for match fixing) and Yannick Noah (who has had problems with the French fiscal authorities). Mrs. Roselyne said she "simply echoed" comments from Yannick Noah and Koellerer.
Koellerer said in 2013: “Let’s take Nadal. It’s not possible that he tests negative. After 7 months out of the courts due to injury, he came back and won 10 out of 13 tournaments. That is impossible. Impossible! It tells you everything. That combined with the rumours of fake injuries to cover up silent bans. Look, nobody believes in that story that he didn’t take anything!...”

You should pay attention to the following: D.Koellerer's and Mrs. Roselyne's conclusions apply to Fed, who stopped playing for long months after July 2016.

Nadal was 26+ in 2013.
In 2017, after his marvelous comeback, Fed was 35+.
which one sounds more suspicious?

Nadal is still there and the ratings are also high when he's playing and Federer isn't. He isn't that far away from Federer in terms of viewership.

Obviously when Federer goes things will be different. And when Nadal does, that will mean that the top 2 have both gone. Then I think I agree. Nobody wants to watch Zverev vs another kid.
