how come everytime I flip on Wimbleton all I see is women's matchs. I can't stand it. I'm not sexist at all, I personally supported the women recieving equal prize money, but these matches are just boring! there are rare exceptions, but almost every woman on tour plays the same style. it's just a contest of who can hit harder. I hate it. Why do they choose to show every one of the williams' sisters matches, but won't show the canas/hewitt match or ferrero's match. They started to show the Nadal soderling match, but switch to Henin's match half way through. I can't stand it.

Because of TV ratings, the woman matches are more dramtic like Serena's last match. They're not going to show boring men matches where they actually play the points and hit winners.

The BBC, if you're american, and watching on NBC, or suchlike, ahev the same problem. I'm at work/school for most of the day, but whenever I come in, its womens matches, notably the Williams', and then I watch the recording, to find yet more womens matches. Personally, I think it must be because tv programmers hate to show the viewers quality, and prefer for them to switch off, or resort to Deal or No Deal!

I also think that because womens matches are best of three sets, the match-time range is reduced, so it is more predictable to the network.

I think it's ridiculous. with the exception of Fed and the henman/moya match, I haven't seen another full men's match. It's kinda pissin me off...

I think that they're able to show more complete matches by airing the women's matches. It's usually faster to play best of 3 than best of 5, and the rain delays just accentuate that. I don't think they like airing a match that got one set in before play was suspended.
