This is how the USO should look like

This is the angle that should be used at EVERY EVENT for TV. And with HDTV aspect ratio it's made for this angle. It's ridiculous that any other camera placement is ever used for the A camera. This position is where the most expensive and best seats in the house always are. It's a no brainer.

Except for the public pool color of the court this is the right speed for the US Open. It is beyond me on why they decided it would be cool to have the court speed slower than RG.

I'm really starting to believe they wanted to prevent Federer from having +25 majors and keep the Slam race alive albeit artificially.

I've been thinking that for quite some time. Fedr pulling away will just be bad for the sport, seen from that pov. They think the slam race is exciting, first Nadal crossing Fed, then the race between Djoko and Nad.
After that, what ????

Perfect camera angle, perfect court speed/bounce, players hitting the ball on the rise

Send this to USO officials, they are sure aware that they are just amateurs who knows sheet about sport and what people wants...

You will be praised as saviour of tennis as a sport...

Unfortunately, all of Rafa's moonballs would go outside/above the camera range, so they've adjusted the camera angles for him :D :D

Madness level - infinite...

About camera, I personally don't like... Camera goes left and right too much, can't concentrate myself, sometimes camera goes so wide we cant see other player, his positioning... And further side of court is so small, can't see depth of strokes that well.
Maybe I am just not used to that angle...

That's because that older clip of the US Open was shot with the old 4:3 aspect ratio of standard def. With HD and the 16:9 aspect ratio there is really no need to pan if the camera is placed correctly. Like I said - the HD format with the much wider field of view is made for lower angle perfect view of tennis where you can see the shape, spin and speed of the ball on every shot on both sides of the court and much truer views of the lines as well. It's a no brainer and the only reason it hasn't been done more is because of the antiquated stadium camera placements that are hold overs from the pre-HD era.

You are right, but about last sentence, on some tournaments they have this low position cameras too, I think USO, maybe I am wrong. And they show this view for few points every match.
I dont like this view because dont have feeling where ball drops in further half of the court...is it half a meter or 2 meters from the base line, is it out or not...
Again, I would probably get used if its more common angle...

Imagine this angle with high definition and a larger surrounding picture... would be great to watch or at least have the option to watch from.

In October 2010 no one in the world not even Djokovic himself expected he would be close in total slams to Nadal.
