Are you ready to start winning more tennis matches?

I would hope so.

In this post.

I'm going to show you how to start winning more matches very FAST, no matter what level you are playing at, it's all about givng yourself a chance to win the match.

Before and during it.

Here is the good news for YOU.

If you follow the instruction below, you will increase the probabilities of you winning your future matches.

Which is why I am writing the post.

One.

Never beat yourself.

Make them earn everything that they get from you and play within your matchplay game at all times.

Because.

You know what you can do out there and you know what you can't do, you should also learn how to scout your opponents better.

So, you can know their matchplay game better than they know it themselves.

This takes focus and concentration when preparing for your matches.

Study the pros and pay attention to how they do it and then start using those same tactics in your practice matches.

Two.

Go all in on every point.

Before every match.

Set a strong intention to leave it all out there on the court.

By playing each point harder than the last one.

Then breathe it away and mentally recover for the next point.

Keep saying to yourself.

The next point is the most important point and focus all your mental energy on it.

Three.

Learn the broken rhythm method for matchplay.

Remember the book Winning Ugly by Brad Gilbert?

Great book by the way.

Brad was the master of using the broken rhythm method in his matches and his opponents hating him for it!!

I saw it up close in Tokyo years ago.

He was playing a guy, can't recall who it was, at this time, but the guy had much more abilities than Brad, but he let Brad mentally break him down during the match and I will never forget what he said out loud to himself during a change over.

"How am I losing to this guy!!"

Here is a quick description of the BRM.

Do whatever you have to do to break up or disrupt your opponent timing, rhythm and flow for the match and this is why you have to get better at scouting your opponents before you play them, because when you do, you will be able to apply the BRM much better against them!!

Okay guys.

Those are 3 great tips for winning more matches.

Now, make sure you start using them!!

I was a beginner two decades ago and kept losing in doubles matches. A new doubles partner told me just one thing and he promised me I would win this match with him. He just told me: "Keep your eye on the f****** ball, at all time! "

It was like magic... I never missed a ball, put all the balls back in play and won the match. I was so happy.

Sadly, my hero passed away on our club's tennis court due to a heart attack:cry::cry::cry:. I wasn't there when it happened but it made me cry. He's very very friendly, down to earth and always help others.
