Ludlum, even without the Bourne series.

Ken Follett spy novels of the WW2 era ("Eye Of The Needle" , "The Key To Rebecca" et al)

    or

I will have to go with the word processor. I remember using a typewriter in high school, and using white-out was a nightmare.

Better Scandinavian former pro who is not Swedish:

    Christian Ruud or Kenneth Carlsen?

Of course, Torben Ulrich is the king in this category.

Ruud and Carlsen in a tie. Edberg must better although Wilander had more slams.

    Beatles or Stones?

Agassi, thanks very much to a choking young Goran handing him his first of his four legs of a CGS on a surface Lendl was once "allergic" to (funny it didn't stop his love for golf).

    Favored natural surface:

    Grass or Terre Battue???

Both were great losses to American popular music. It was a matter of chance who got on the plane. Wilander was originally booked on the Pan Am flight that crashed in Lockerbie, but cancelled his reservation.

The Reading Festival in England or the Roskilde Festival in Denmark?

Wasn't Rosset also spared by changing his travel plans from NYC via Swissair Flight #111 after losing at USO'98?

Pierre Babolat, president of the string giant, was not so lucky...one of the 200+ victims.

I heard about Rosset changing flights, but didn't know about Pierre Babolat. It is unfortunate that he did not live to see Babolat's subsequent great success with racquets.

I recently watched a show about great NFL quarterbacks, which was very interesting.
