The Caribbean seems a bit nicer, unless you are searching for bodies left by organized crime.

It's a cold rainy day, and you go into a pub for a pint: Wales or Scotland?

I tried paan once in Delhi. A preparation combining betel leaf with areca nut and sometimes also with tobacco, amongst other herbs and spices. It is chewed for its stimulant and psychoactive effects. I guess it's an acquired taste. Not for me.

"Local Hero" was an excellent film, which I have on DVD, and "Gregory's Girl," also written and directed by Bill Forsyth was very good.

    "Local Hero" or "Trainspotting"?

    Crete.

Because it’s where Zeus, King of the Greek gods, was born

In a cave, to be precise. Zeus’ father, Cronus, had a nasty habit of swallowing his children as soon as they were born, so Zeus’ mother, Rhea, gave birth to the infant king in Crete, hoodwinking Cronus with a rock wrapped in blankets to swallow instead. The baby himself was then raised in a cave on Mount Ida, either by a goat or by nymphs, depending on who you ask, and the cave, with its awe-inspiring stalagmites and stalactites, is just one of the island’s countless ancient excavation sites that have become hugely successful tourist attractions in recent years.

What can you expect from a guy who castrated his own father? But what a moron! How can you mistake a slab of rock for a baby? Did he not think it odd that the 'baby' seemed suspiciously heavy and never moved or cried? Seems even Greek gods could be exceptionally thick at times!!

The smell of Resh's indigestion in the morning beats all smells and aromas including that of baked bread, Columbian coffee, roses, Hakari and sizzling bacon.

A breakfast without a @JoelDali spray is like a morning without sunshine. I might need to overdose on @Sentinel eggplant or @Mike Bulgakov Stoli to overcome that kind of depress. Instead, I will seek guidance from SexiSuri on how best to compress.
